@HB05 Welcome to the VJ forum and congrats on your approval! Can you share your NOA1 date (the date of your I-751 letter from 2016) and the date of your approval letter so we can add you to the tracker? Thank you!

As I mentioned before,I sent my package Nov 28/16 and the letter I received today says that the decision was made 10/20/2017

and I should receive my GC in 60 days

anyone knows how long it will take to receive it

thanks

Thank you! Based on what I have read, most folks get it within 3-4 weeks. Sorry to belabor that point, but did u send your package on Nov 28, 2016? If so, what was the date of your extension letter? My guess it would be anywhere from Nov 30th through Dec 3-5 but I wanted to confirm. Thanks again!

VSC is moving faster than I ever anticipated. A while ago I was looking at the October-2016 thread and it shows 68% VSC applicants have been approved. I wonder the next USCIS VSC processing timeline update would show a November date and CSC would be stuck in July-2016 :o

It would not surprise me at all.

However,  if all the CSC filers filed a complaint with the Ombudsman all at once, now that would be interesting.  If we look at politics voters show their displeasure with their feet and if enough people vote with their feet, governments have to take note. I wonder if the same would apply if everyone whom have been waiting far too long  with CSC did the same?  I guess people don't as they are scared to upset USCIS, in case their applications are rejected.  However, we are the customers, it is a business and we are the people that pay for the said business.  I don't even know why it passed my mind then, probably as I watching a documentary regarding a law passed that people didn't agree with and they all decided to protest!

I agree with you but I don't think so people would be willing to protest because they have the fear of rejection and the current political leadership is hostile towards immigrants. Honestly speaking as an applicant or customer I feel I have no option except being patient with the broken system and the only way out is to be done with this process successfully. I sound selfish but this is how everyone thinks and frustrated with the process. To be honest it scares me and breaks my heart when I see people reporting on the VJ that they never received RFE or Interview letter from USCIS subsequently receives the status termination letter because they didn't respond to the undelivered or stolen USCIS letters. Immigration process at any level is not a joke USCIS primarily should work on the efficient delivery of their mail. Imagine the pain the people go through due to non-delivery of USCIS mail. Anyway, how is everything going for you? I remember did you file at CSC first than moved or your GC was stolen or lost it? Regards

Well... the weirdest thing happened to me today... I went to get my infopass and the stamp today... and the lady ask me if I got a ROE, which I haven’t, so she told ok, here is your passport with your extension for one year more, and that’s it... so I ask her what do you mean with that’s it, I’m curious why you asked about an ROE, she said, what you ever had and interview? And I said yes, the first time, and she said ok... I can tell that they send a notice, I think is requesting evidence, is still early, you should get it in couple of days, anyway check online..... so I’m freaking out!! Is she sure???? She can know what kind of notice was it??? Can be anything from approval, more evidence or even interview!!! My lawyer said that she can see they sent something, but not what kind of notice...  so these will be the longest days ever!!!

Yes.. from speaking to tier 2 few days back they are able to see requests made on the case, approval/denial etc.. So if she said send you a notice I am assuming it might be an RFE
