OK Yes im venting here! LOL This NVC wait as it is presently may in fact take LONGER then it took my I129F to be approved. I had my K1 Approved in 42 days and given the slowness of the NVC at present it may take as long or longer to reach, pass through and ultimately reach the embassy. This is nuts. As stated before the NVC stage stinks because its sort of a unknown and your dealing with the house at the top of the hill which nobody can touch etc. My opinion suggestion is that they need to extend the G1145 to encompass all movement from USCIS through DOS/NVC up to the point where the K1 package is set to be mailed to the embassy. This way you have full coverage throughout the process.

I completely agree with you!!! They say "up to 6 weeks" and its taking longer. They are misleading ALL OF US! I wish there was a way to make formal complaint.

And those of us already married laugh at the 6 weeks only a few more because it's so short of time frame versus the 5-6 months at USCIS.

Just get things ready for when your loved one arrives. At least appreciate how much quicker a K1 is.

Good luck!

yupp your not alone got approved luckily in 41 days , im on day 20 and still case hasnt received at nvc , not sure how hard it can be to just allow ppl to track their cases from delivery to delivered and etc ,and of course they dont bother to even explain the process , soon as you ask too much they start going back to their 6 weeks talk, their lucky they dont have customer surveys

as i can see ive only seen mainly oct 3 or 4 ppl getting case numbers and only one person of oct 11 , hopefully this week

i understand the frustration

I couldn't agree more! The problem here is that you're asking at least three different federal agencies (USCIS/DOS/NVC) to cooperate with each other. Not to mention the individual embassies. But a guy can dream, right?
