Hello I-130/CR-1 filers with "scan date" in August and Septemeber 2016 (Date NVC says they received your IV and AOS packets),

As you may have been seeing NVC case completes are coming in at almost two months waiting time. Thats 7,8 sometimes 9 weeks when they claim 6 weeks waiting time. I don't know about you all but i would LOVE a group of people who all have scan dates in August and September 2016 to track which scan dates are currently getting approvals. Yes, there are similar groups BUT none that is very specific to the people who already have scan date and are just sitting on their hands waiting.. and waiting... and waiting. Prior to September I was seeing a lot of people get CC in 3 weeks they must be overloaded with cases at the moment. I know you August people must be sick of waiting!

I would love to hear stories, checklists (False and true), supervisor reviews, and of course when you've finally been approved along with your scan date so we can know more or less what scan dates the NVC is up to.

For questions about the process leading up to sending in your documents you might find it more useful to check out the group NVC september 2016 (or something like that) :goofy:

After you let us know that you've received your CC head on over to the group "Case Complete to Interview"

As you can see if my time like my scan date is September 12 with a false checklist October 11

Thank you! I hope you guys like this group!

*~*~*moved from process and procedures" to "progress reports"*~*~*

Great idea! I'll join in. My scan date is September 1. I'm going to call them tomorrow after work if no news then. From what I'm seeing, they are automatically sending all cases over 6 weeks old to supervisor review. Teddyk was told this today by phone.

Sounds like a good thing but Ive been reading that it can take longer sometimes. But who knows, if you don't do it maybe your case will get left in a dusty corner haha.

That's my fear! At least if it goes to supervisor review and someone has to physically touch it and move it from Bob's desk to Fred's desk then I know it's there and someone has touched it.
