Is it okay if i Go with my husband to his CFO SEMINAR? it says on the cfo requirements bring valid visa? its that the visa date summary? and how do i open the visa packet they give us? the passport is inside the plastic.

No. you can not go to the CFO seminar. That is for Philippine citizen not you. You will be left outside if you try to go.

i think they are referring to your passport with US visa.

found the visa. on the cfo it says do not detach the staple in the immigrant date summary from the envelope but on cfo requirements it says that they need the original. what did you guys do?

omg.. i opened the plastic pouch (top) to get my passport inside where the visa packet is.. is it ok? i'm worried.. pls. kindly enlighten me about this.. thank you

You can go to CFO but you won't be allowed inside the building, it is a couple hour wait outside.

There is no issue with cutting the plastic to remove the passport. You will also have to make copies of the Data Summary Sheet that is attached to the DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE, do not detach the data summary sheet from the (DO NOT OPEN) envelope.

Visa is inside the passport, make copies of this also, along with the BIO page.

You need your passport to fly and get the cfo stamp. Only way to get is opening the plastic bag. Don't open the 'DO NOT OPEN' envelope. Your fiancé will not be allowed to enter the cfo building.

thank you. for the seminar is it okay to bring the copy of nbi clearance?

NBI is not a required document. You can bring along but doubt it will be asked for.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: originals & copies of; CENOMAR (CEMAR and marriage certificate if married), certified birth certificate. Passport and copies of bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together.

From USC (copies of) - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common requests. If you have never been married before be prepared to provide a copy of your ITR to prove your singleness... of course BLACKENING out the SSN for sure.

The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with CFO.
