I got the same response as well a couple days after I filed a SR. USCIS has been closed from the 31st until yesterday so that is why it took them longer probably. Keep day 90 as your benchmark. It seems that with the holidays and the bigger caseloads they received they can't do it much faster than that unless you get extremely lucky. I have read a report from USCIS that they approve 98.7% of all I765 cases received (which was almost 1.2 million for 2015) within 90 days. I know it sucks, but be patient for a couple more days. It will come. Mine got approved on day 91

Another update on husband's EAD card typo.. I received a letter in the mail yesterday stating I have to send the original card along with a detailed explanation of the card error and supporting documents on the correct information. Examples of supporting documentation may include a copy of his birth certificate, marriage certificate, legal name change etc. Once the correct card is received, a review of your file will be done to determine the error. If it is determined to be an error made by USCIS, you will be issued a corrected EAD. However if it is determined that it is not an error made by USCIS you will receive further instructions on how to obtain a corrected card.

GREAT! Another 1-2 months down the drain....

Was the name spelled correct on the hardcopy NOA's you received?

If you are 100% sure that it was USCIS that made the mistake I would get the senator/congressman involved. Also open a case with DHS ombudsman. And it might not help much, but make an infopass appointment and discuss the case in person.

My attorney said she can't do anything before 90 days up. So I just tried to call USCIS, apparently they are so busy that they can't even transfer me to an immigration officer. They can only submit service request at this time. I submitted an expedite request due to severe financial loss for my I-765 hopefully they'll reply me. But it's been so long and it's frustrating knowing the fact that if I don't get the card before 2/9/2017, I'll have to lose my job....

AOS Package Sent - 10/17/2016

NOA 1 date - 10/20/2016

Fingerprint appointment done - 12/2/2016

New Card Is Being Produced

On January 4, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC-, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

This is for the I-485 AOS/Green Card receipt number... my wife and I received a text telling us our case status was updated earlier today. The case statuses for AP and EAD receipt numbers still show as "case was received".

We're both hoping this isn't a mistake!

Edited by nygnyy

Went through K-1 (I-129F) AOS (I-485) EAD (I-765) AP (I-131) processes. Thanks to the Visa Journey community for their help and support!

Thats the thing- I checked the NOA for EAD and it was misspelled there as well, its so hard to catch the error and I didnt notice. The  NOA for 1-130 was correct as well as the i-485. However, when we recieved the biometrics letter it had both MSC numbers listed on one page (i-485 and i-765) and the last name on that one was correct. I checked the copies of my packet and its correct there as well. I really might go and ask the congressman for help on this, thanks for the advice!
