My oat ceremony is next week , I already made an appointment with the passport office  for me and my son as he's a minor I hope I can get he's passport after getting my certificate , we have a flight to Africa on the 25th so we were ask to bring the flight ticket along ... fingers cross for both of us getting our passport. Counting down to my oat day never been this happy in my life lol

Just an update for reference, I'd applied for my US passport last Saturday, although I paid for expedited service they said 2nd September would be the earliest I would get it... it arrived today! 6 days later! Not returned my certificate yet though...

All done.

 

Great day, 30 newly minted USC from 15 countries. No judge at ours, just the head from USCIS Memphis. Our appointment was for 13:00, and we were all done in an hour. They really do have a very nice way of organizing it, and making it special, quite a lot of people were in tears at the end. I...am not a crier I could have cried when I saw the certificate, they used the photo from biometrics, rather than the passport pictures they wanted, and I have never seen a worse photo, of anybody!

 

We drove through the absolute worst weather the day before, for 20 minutes on the AR side of the river. I could see the yellow line on the side of the road, and the 18 wheeler next to me, but nothing else.

The Hotel, same one as last time, mysteriously upgraded us to the penthouse Very grand.

 

Glad to be all done and dusted. Well, except for a passport, the DMV, the SSN...

Congratulations! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We had 40 from 18 countries around the world! Don't know if you saw my post above but passport arrived in 6 days, definitely worth expediting!

Am officially a US citizen today . Thank you everyone for your love and support couldn't have done it without you guys am glad to have known each and everyone of you . To those still waiting have faith there will be light at the end of the tunnel just keep pushing and praying your turns are just around the Conner. Love you all and be safe. Thank you once more . Off to go apply for my passport🙏🏻💃🏻🥂🍾

Thank you , just drove 4 hours to Miami to apply for my passport , paid $225 for passport and passport card . Will be picking it up later today. Can't wait to hold it in my hands🥂💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Just picked up my passport and got my certificate also , took  just 6 hours from applying and getting my passport same day in Miami. Glad it's over. Good luck to those still waiting and congratulations to everyone who's done with this whole process. We can all sleep stress free now.

Hi @Ramz. Did you need to have travel plans (an international flight booked) to apply and get same-day in Miami? Do you mind sending the office details that provide same-day service?  Thanks in advance.
