Called NVC early this morning too but haven't heard back yet.

Is your NOA1 / NOA2 dates the day you got your physical copy in mail or online?

If any case I think mine should be next week as your NOA2 was approved a bit faster than ours :D

I entered the dates from the physical copies -- not electronic notification. Figured I'd keep it official with those dates, though of course there was delay in mail. If we all go by when we receive physical copies, I think we'd be skewing the numbers -- things are moving quickly it seems.

Glad to hear they are moving fast, but either way I don't plan on going to get my fiancee until around end of February or early March, so really I'm not in a big rush..but just want this to go smoothly, which it has so far :)

Called NVC today and found out that they received my packet yesterday. Whooo! It's looking like it takes a day or two for the case number to be assigned? So, I'll try calling back tomorrow or later this evening. Heheh.

Today is day 12 since NOA2 for us. I've been getting really antsy waiting to call NVC on day 14, so I decided to submit an inquiry via the "Ask NVC" page. Not sure how quickly they'll get back to me. Anyone know about how long it takes? I've heard that e-mail replies take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks and I'm not sure if that same timeline applies to inquiries submitted through the form I used.

Well, I couldn't wait any longer so I decided to call NVC. After waiting about 30 minutes, I spoke with a very friendly operator. They don't have our case just yet but he encouraged me to call back within the normally-quoted 6 week timeframe.

I called NVC today and received my case number and invoice number! Hrmmmm. Now what to do....

Wooooooo congrats! 20 days from NOA2 to NVC. Not too bad. Seems like the average these days is 20-27 days.

Hello! We were informed that there was a RFE on Oct 31, we got hard copy on Nov 4th. We replied until Nov 14th (since USPS was closed due to Veterans Day) and USCIS got it yesterday:

Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

On November 16, 2016, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WAC######. Our California Service Center office will begin working on your case again.

We need to know what would be the timeline for decision after submitting evidences.

They received our RFE response on the 9th and we got approved on the 15th. It usually takes 7-14 days to get NOA2, but it could be more.
