Sad.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

The Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. We're doing it now.

In the 34-year history of USA TODAY, the Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. Instead, weve expressed opinions about the major issues and havent presumed to tell our readers, who have a variety of priorities and values, which choice is best for them. Because every presidential race is different, we revisit our no-endorsement policy every four years. Weve never seen reason to alter our approach. Until now.

This year, the choice isnt between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences. This year, one of the candidates Republican nominee Donald Trump is, by unanimous consensus of the Editorial Board, unfit for the presidency.

The part in bold sums it up hugely.

Rump will simply label his detractor's idiots, really very very stupid people, and move right along. That is what is truly, bigly even, sad.

Other board members have serious reservations about Clinton’s sense of entitlement, her lack of candor and her extreme carelessness in handling classified information.

Seems mild to say the least.

And yet given her flaws, their disagreement with Democratic Party principals and years of tradition...on the balance the Arizona Republic decided to endorse Hillary and make it clear that Trump is not a suitable candidate.

Agree weird, perhaps some sort of backhander from the Clinton Campaign, nothing else makes sense.

You say "weird" but show me any makor party candidate like Trump who is so unprepared in his cuu5rent knowledge or skill set and has not shown any inclination to change the sitution. Isnt the weird part that he has any backing at all?
