I have a feeling that of Consulate Officers spent a lot of time on VJ there would be far fewer visa's issued.

I'm sure that's the case, Boiler. But we're not trying to skirt the system or pull any tricks. We're trying to use the system as it's meant to be used.... legally. (Unless I'm not seeing something obvious???)

Yes, indeed.

Hang in there.

One other thought - I just wonder if it might help for both of you to meet in some other more supportive locale/country, to spend some quality time together.

You are going to spend money, whether she visits you, or you visit her.

Pick a country that suits your desires, and wallet, and have a fantastic holiday TOGETHER.

Doing so might support later visa efforts, I imagine, but you get the pleasure of the time together, which is what you want.

Just a thought.

Hang in there, you two.
