Hi guys"

I have some questions regarding the schedule of medical/interview online for k1 visa Phil.

We've paid the visa at BPI and we're now about to schedule our interview and medical online. My question is, can we schedule our medical at SLEC 5days after my menstrual period and interview three days later after medical?I've read some thread regarding this matter but some are not updated. Some said should be 10 days after period and some are 2-7 days. I just want to clarify for those who have tried.

Thanks

Hi', thank you for taking the time to respond.

Can we make a schedule of our medical anytime? We're just afraid that what if we already have schedule for interview and no such available slots at SLEC for medical prior to the date of our interview.

Thanks,

I believe St. Luke's doesn't accept appointments, but Walk-in only. Good luck!

Prior it requires a number of days after periods because urine samples are collected for urinalysis. Not sure when it actually stopped but SLEC no longer collects urine samples during the medical exam for k1. It is important that you are not on your periods otherwise your physical exam needs to be rescheduled.

P.S. i personally asked the personnel during my medical exam.

A week after period is ok.

No appointment necessary but you do need to register online.

Bring a sweater as it's ice cold in SLEC.

USEM recommends 5-7 business prior to your interview date. If you can get everything done before the interview the days do not matter. If medical can't be completed before the interview don't cancel your interview. You'll receive a 221g at the end of the interview for the medical to be delivered to USEM where the CO will complete the processing. Once approved then your visa is delivered.

At best its usually is an additional 2-3 weeks before completing and delivering your visa.

Embassy no longer states a required time frame between the medical and interview, they only state to complete the medical before the interview (last page of the embassy instructions letter)

St. Luke's is walk-in, you can pre-register to save some time when you first arrive. http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

Information on the medical exam is here (3/4 down the page) http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#kvisa

Thank you guys for the response.

I'm nervous now. Hehe I hope all is well. I thought that it's also a schedule basis depending on the slots like the appointment for interview.

But anyway, We were now able to schedule my interview on Oct. 26 and maybe I'll be having my medical 3-4 days before, it depends on but ay least we already registered online.

Thank you guys for helping me and putting my mind at ease. ?
