I'm not sure which way is better, but I actually sent in samples of both.

I sent screen shots of phone records to show how often we called each other. And I included samples of different chats that we have had over the course of the relationship. While I didn't send in everything, I took screen shots for different time periods to show the length of the relationship.

Am I allowed to go to the interview with my husband?

Technically you are not allowed to enter the mumbai embassy with your husband but sometimes they do allow the USC's.

They do not have time to look at the chat records or emails during the Interview,if they need further evidence they will keep his passport and hold the decision and ask him to submit the proofs via mail. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't bring the evidence. They need to see the contents, just the emails back and forth does not prove anything.Print the chat records of the first few days of every month. But the chat records and emails and pictures are just secondary evidence they do not hold much weight. You should have the list of people who attended your wedding. The wedding function receipts etc etc.If your in laws and your family could write affidavits stating that your relationship is genuine then it would help also.best of luck.

Emails logs and other communications should've been front-loaded with docs sent to USCIS and NVC.

If the CO seeks evidence of continuing relationship day of the interview, it's not a good omen; a sign that the CO harbors doubts about the whole thing.

We didn't really have an official wedding ceremony. We got married in the court and had a very small intimate wedding ceromony at a temple that we didn't book, just showed up too. I don't see how a giant overpriced wedding would prove anything.

Do you understand my point or you don't? When did I say a giant overpriced wedding would prove something? They might ask you to show the pics of the wedding, the names and contact details of the people who attended the wedding. You said your husband is "SIKH" then how come the wedding ceremony was in a "Temple"? Put yourself in the Consular Officers shoes and then decide...A guy denied student visa earlier found a USC online and married her during first meeting and did the wedding in a temple when he is a sikh.Did any of his relatives attended the wedding?

Sikhs have Temples, Gurdwara's.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

In English it translates as Temple.

The most well-known gurdwara is the Harmandir Sahib (popularly known as The Golden Temple) in Amritsar, Punjab, India.

I am Hindu and my wife is Christian.I wouldn't wanna get married in a Gurudwara,I would either do it in a temple or a Church. That is not normal and the Consulates in India look at all these things.

Nope, A gurdwara (Punjabi: ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ, Gurduārā or ਗੁਰਦਵਾਰਾ, gurdwārā; meaning 'door to the Guru') is the place of worship for Sikhs. They did not get married in the Golden Temple. They got married in a hindu temple which is fine but the consulates in India look at all these details.

You may not see it, but the interviewing officer might; especially where there are flags. It's their job to scrutinize why a sikh Indian would marry a caucasian American in a temple.. when a practicing sikh would otherwise marry in a gurudwara. Nothing illegal about that setup, but anything out of the norm certainly attracts scrutiny. For better or worse, a giant overpriced wedding tends to be the norm in India. Many Indian weddings tend to be showoffs, even among the less well off. Consular officers are trained to be familiar with local cultural norms.

Sikhs do not get married in "temples" they get married in "gurudwara"

Ok, Im not Indian nor Sikh, so bear with me if I don't know all the terms correctly. Yes, it was at a gurudwara. I thought they were basically the same thing, interchangeable. Thanks for the correction.

Yes I do, you don't have to be rude (:

We got married at a gurudwara, as I said I thought the terms "gurudwara" and "temple" were interchangeable, that was my mistake. Neither my husband or I wanted a big wedding, we both have problems with anxiety and the thought made me personally want to puke. Yes we have pictures of the ceromony, and yes there were about 20 of his family members there.

His family was planning a giant expensive wedding but I told them I didn't really want something so lavish. They agreed and we had a smaller ceremony. How do we explain this to the embassy?
