Applies to all ethnicities, a fact of human interactions.

And much more complicated than you simplistically suggest.

Why don't you post some examples of white people being systematically discriminated against.

When I was in Sri Lanka there was one price for the locals and one for whites.

Yes, you can post at least 10 shootings that upset you, just like the BS Dylan Noble shooting, and yet it still remains that THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of police interactions happen every day without bloodshed. When people follow the rules, it typically ends well. Dylan Noble wanted to commit "suicide by cop", and have you seen any white folks here complaining about it? No. Not one bit.

0.001 percent. Keep that in mind. Or don't. It's a choice you have. That we all have. I think your efforts would be well spent on other avenues of comparing racism. Certainly a lot better than being a member of #blm. That's just... sad, at best. I know you can do much better. YOU are a better person than that, I know that you are. At least I want to believe in you more than what you keep posting.

I'm shocked you asked this question. But maybe you just don't have a clue about it so I'll break it down nicely.

The reason why we're upset at the cops and not doctors is because they're not the ones bragging about killing us on the operating table. There are videos of cops high fiving right after shooting an unarmed black teen. Same video shows they even turned off their body cameras, meaning they knew there were going to do something shady. Then they turn around and lie about him having a weapon. Or emails that break down cops telling others how to frame black men specifically. Or reports from various PD(Chicago, Baltimore, Ferguson) that show explicit bias and bad policing towards people of color. Or a city that KNEW ahead of time that a police shoot was completely unjustified and waited an entire year to award the family justice, you know, the one where the cops shot that kid 16 times, lied about him attacking them, then went to the surrounding areas and confiscated the video tapes. Or what about the ones who went to that bridge and just decided to open fire on black folks trying to get out of LA when Katrina. That's scary right there. Their only crime? Being black trying to escape from a flood.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danziger_Bridge_shootings

The Danziger Bridge shootings were police shootings that took place on September 4, 2005, at the Danziger Bridge in New Orleans, Louisiana. Six days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, members of the New Orleans Police Department killed two civilians: 17-year-old James Brissette and 40-year-old Ronald Madison. Four other civilians were wounded. All of the victims were African-American. None were armed or had committed any crime. Madison, a mentally disabled man, was shot in the back.

New Orleans police fabricated a cover-up story for their crime, falsely reporting that seven police officers responded to a police dispatch reporting an officer down, and that at least four suspects were firing weapons at the officers upon their arrival.[2] Rev. Raymond Brown, the local head of the National Action Network, described the shootings as "...a racial tragedy

I wonder how many times does it need to happen in order for it to become real evidence instead of anecdotal.

So, we're talking about overseas? I thought we were talking about here in the US. Just like there's the tourist price and the Kamaaina price we pay here in Hawaii.

US is overseas, pretty sure I saw water when I flew over.

Currently being called a Polak when I have screwed up, had to get the context, but Polish are mainly white.

Now I was born in an area before the benefits of multiculturalism, but remember all sorts of derogatory jokes about Irish, French Italians, Germans etc etc.

And stuff being described as Jap #######, times change.

OMFG, are you SERIOUS???? How about in every single country outside the USA that I have been to? Japan. Korea. Philippines. Thailand. Even Hawaii, though it's technically a state of the US. People stick to their own, my friend. Whites, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Monks, Jews, Arabs, Africans (the real ones, not Americans who claim to be). Every group of peoples in this world STICK TOGETHER. It's how they survive. Just like herds and prides in the wild. It's normal. Get used to it.

If he wanted to commit suicide by cop, why didn't he just go shoot up a police station? Or resist arrest? Or better yet, go kill white people? Nope, he went for elderly black people, and even with that being his target, the judge asked for sympathy for HIS family. I mean, you have a guy who murdered 10 people in cold blood, that's going against the rules to the highest power and he STILL gets to draw breath. White people here should be furious he's still alive, since I've seen the comments towards black people who were killed for selling loose cigs and owning back child support. Simply put, white mass murderers don't draw the same kind of outrage that black folks who might/might not be criminal do.

Here's what you don't get. It's not that we sit back and compare racism all day. We have other things to do that are way more important. It's when white people scream at the top of your lungs about how WE are supposed to live our lives. When we see us being shot and killed by the police for almost nothing(or nothing at all, just ask those cats on the bridge) and you tell me it's nothing to be worried about but then white folks go shoot up a theater, kill about 18 people, and the cops are like, watch his head putting him in the car, how am I supposed to feel about it? When black folks tear up a city because of racial injustice, it's looting and rioting. When white folks tear a city up for a game, it's kids letting off steam. football player takes a knee at a game during the anthem, it's disrespectful, even though the anthem was written by a well know racist. When white folks go in on the president and make racial comments, it's free speech. Just like my membership in BLM has people upset, because protesting about black lives matter and the police issue has people more upset than a VP candidate who refuses to denounce a full fledge member of the KKK. BLM is more deplorable than the KKK, and we've never killed a single soul.

You should ask yourself why BLM upsets you so much. Because if there was a breast cancer event, would you go and say All Cancers Matter?

Yes, deadly. I've been to the ones you mentioned. And I've seen white people be let into establishments I couldn't get into. I can't even catch a cab in HK without a white man decoy. We had one in our group we'd put in front.

There's a difference between sticking to your own and denying entrance.

Except you left out the flashing neon sign that there never was systemic racism and oppression of white people like there was and still is for black

and brown people. Your "trigger terms" is what we actually hear and see every day. Matter of fact it sounds like Trump supporters on a daily basis.

The links about whites you provided sprang from racism for minorities. Such a simple truth yet so difficult to grasp for some.

If black people are discriminated against and shot like rabbits then where is the issue in a BLM movement to raise awareness of the fact ?

Black Lives Matter.

Now if whites are discriminated against, shot like rabbits, oppressed and turn out to be the minority one day then there will be a WLM

movement. What is so hard to understand about that ? It is too simple to even quarrel over. It is a fact of live. The oppressed will rebel.

Stop the oppression and there is no cause for the movement. Cause and effect.

Don't tell me whites are discriminated against in regards to housing, jobs, loans and profiling. Blacks/Browns are. Period.

Who are "white people"?

Ashkenazi Jews never encountered racism or oppression? Irish immigrants, Italian immigrants, Greek immigrants etc. etc. etc. were all subject to widespread discrimination. JFK being catholic was enough for millions of Americans not to vote for him. During WW2, German and Italian Americans were placed in internment camps while their sons were fighting the Nazis and Fascists in Europe. If/When a publication uses the headline "The Black Guy Problem", they are rightly ostracized and shamed out of public existence. I don't understand why stereotypical blanket statements about an entire ethnic group is ok, so long as it's not a minority. Would "The Hispanic Problem" be an ok headline in California? "Asian Men Must Be Stopped" would be ok in Hawaii?

Black people in America today are not "shot like rabbits" and I have never in my life seen a FICO score indicating a person's skin color. The reason people mention black-on-black crime is because if you're going to make the argument that black people are "shot like rabbits", then you have to at some point reconcile with the fact that the vast majority of black homicides are committed by other blacks. This isn't due to widespread modern-day oppression. It is a result, in part, of historic oppression.

Do black Americans, on average, make less than white or Asian Americans? Yes. And with income disparities come all sorts of other nasty statistics, especially related to crime and police interactions. Where do these income disparities stem from? Historic injustice, incredibly "stupid" drug laws, a breakdown of black families and the fact that a large percentage of black Americans (especially in the Midwest) live in urban areas with failing economies and lack of investment.

If you're going to shout systemic or institutional racism, then show me which system/institution is racist and I'll gladly protest against them. Is it Wells Fargo? The Justice Dept.? The Ohio Dept. of Corrections? Stanford University? Milwaukee PD?

As for browns - Indian Americans have the highest average income in America, coupled with some of the lowest incarceration rates, highest standard of living and highest education levels. Followed, inconveniently by Taiwanese and Filipino Americans. I still struggle to understand how this is possible in a country that is allegedly run on white supremacy.

Are you some kin to Pinocchio? 1 price for locals 1 price for foreigners. If you are a foreigner you have to have a valid residency visa to get the local price.

Nobody asked for my residency visa.

Very racist.

Funny, my two white friends from Britain did. Especially when we went to sigiriya where it's 3500 rupees for foreigners and 200 rupees for locals.

Why don't you post some examples of white people being systematically discriminated against.

Race quotas.

Every time a [fill in color] woman is promoted over a white male because she's a [fill in color] woman, that's discrimination.

Every time a white person (or Asian for that matter) is rejected at a university because the university wants more [fill in color] students, that's discrimination.

Discrimination is discrimination whether it's supposedly for a good cause or not.

Whether John Smith was white or black or brown is completely irrelevant to my life. So why should it affect me that John Smith was promoted, but now Company X wants someone of a different skin tone, so I can no longer be promoted?

In essence. The very notion that organizations or institutions are promoted to differentiate people based exclusively on their skin color is, by definition, systemic discrimination.

I can't think of any other openly enforced system on the books today that actually differentiates people based exclusively on skin color. Not one.

When you stop following the far right/social justice left mantra of people as somehow belonging to specific color-based groups rather than being individuals, the entire idea of racism becomes a little obsolete. I believe that's what MLK fought for, no?
