My fiancee had the same experience that same day: 09/09/2016. we applied for a K1 visa. They gave her her passport in case she needs to travel (that's the reason they stated to gave her back the pass

Did your they gave anything you sent to uscis to your fiancée the day of the interview ?

They kept all the documents listed as necessary.

They gave her back the engagement pictures and the originals of some docs.

They kept a complete file (just the bear minimum) and gave her back the rest.

Hoping for a call this coming week

Does anybody have any contact info for the consulate?

I tried all the phone numbers listed in the website. None of them gets to a live person.

And nobody responds to the emails at all

Any contact number (phone) will be very appreciated

I just contacted USCIS. Our case was not returned to USCIS.

The customer service lady explained that when a case is returned to USCIS, it means the visa was refused and the application is completed at that point.

Not really sure what that means, but we are still holding on

Call uscis and get it reaffirmend time to contact senator

If uscis reaffirms it it will be sent to morroco for a second interview.

They answered me about a question, the case is not in the embassy anymore, so they won't tell you anything, they sent the case back to Uscis, so we have to contact Uscis
