My fiancee had the same experience that same day: 09/09/2016. we applied for a K1 visa. They gave her her passport in case she needs to travel (that's the reason they stated to gave her back the pass

Got Notice from NVC dated May 13th that they are sending Application to Consulate.

Waiting for Consulate Interview Date.

Consulate says Ready for Interview - updated same status on 2 dates - June 17, July 14 and August 2nd.

Interview Date with Packet sent August 23, 2016.

Interview Date: September 9, 2016. Wish us good luck, please!

Ours has AP processing both times they were updated - after interview and last Friday. Nothing changed today.

If your fiance had interview - should be AP if you didn't get an answer right away...

Your case is ready because they didn't set the for your interview yet

We all had the interview here and we are waiting for the embassy call and hopefully approve our visa asap.

They didn't ask for anything at all.

After the interview, they told my fiancee that they will call her in a week. We'll see

Ok so this is good then....they are doing background.

Soon as it clears she can drop passport off...i am suspecting.

Mine touched afew times

nvc date i got case number

in transit

when it was ready

when in ap x3 times while in ap

Issue

And now passport delivered and picked up is on my travel docs.
