Well after some digging on here and on uscis it stays clear that it some ppl have gotten RFEs for "passport style" photos for the g325a , some key things ive seen

ive also seen some get RFes and do a simple RFE reply and there good to go

I saw one person who got a RFE for the pics being too big and instead of fixing it they didnt and got denied, makes sense.

I contacted rapidvisa just to see what they would say and their answer was " it depends , sometimes ppl get RFEs for intent letters when they sent them in , sometimes ppl get RFEs for not signing the back of the passport style photos and some dont , depends on the person reviewing your case"

I contacted uscis their answer was " on our information about passport style photos there isnt a specific dimension requirement , but it depends on the person reviewing the case , we dont get alot of ppl mentioning the passport photo size, very rarely, since your case is processing most likely your fine"

I also went ahead to go over the I 129f uscis instructions and then i pondered and looked at the I 485 uscis instructions , and clearly on the I 485 uscis instructions it states the passport style photo needs to be 2in by 2in.

Overall based on what ive digged up there is a possibility of RFE, if so simply just fix it and send with the 2 by 2 . Or you get approved no problem and just have 2in by 2in ready for when your at the interview stage

Just thought this would help out anyone confused because not alot of posts are on this on the forum, to be SAFE just do the 2in by 2in

Only way ill confirm my research is when it comes time def will update if i get the RFE later in the year or if i didnt

Just wanted to state that there is no requirement for signing the back of the passport photo, so not sure why that company would state people get an RFE for something that is not even required. It asks for lightly printed name.

Also, the passport photos are a requirement of the I-129F form itself and not the G-325A. The G-325A has no requirement. It is just a supplement form required by other petition/application forms.

As for passport size with the I-129F petition, you may or may not get an RFE. I have seen it go either way, but think more people get away with them being the wrong size with the I-129F. I think because the form instruction do not specify the size, though do state it should be 1 inch from chin to top of head/hair. Hopefully you will be fine. For the K-1 interview and AOS later, make sure they are 2x2 inches.
