Unfortunately, it's hard to say. Some people received it within a couple of weeks, others have waited more than the 60 days, and still not. Very hit and miss. Best bet is to go by the timeframe they sent you, and if you don't receive it, lodge a Service Request with USCIS 👍

I received my approval letter and 10 year GC back in Feb 2018 but the online  case status , still shows ' case was received '. I am travelling next month and this should not be a problem right? Has the online case staus remain un updated for any of you guys even after approval and receiving GC ?

Did you check both websites, and both numbers? I was approved, and on the original website, it still says 'received'... And on the new dhs website, one says 'card mailed' and the other still says 'received'. I think it depends on who's updating - But if you have your approval letter and GC in hand, then I wouldn't worry about it 👍😊

Thanks so much for the tip! I checked the new dhs site ,and it says 'Card mailed'!. So all good :)))

Mine took a week too... But then it had the incorrect 'Resident Since' date, so I had to send it back 😏

Not yet. I placed a Service Request and they took 3 weeks to respond to me. They told me to send the card back, with a note explaining the error, and to mark it 'To be expedited due to USCIS error' (because the regular i-90 route, for a replacement GC takes 13 months) 😲 They updated to 'card received' at their end, but I have no idea how long 'expedited' could be 😕 Just a waiting game again...

So basically they said it might be in transit to USCIS. I just got a reply from USCIS three days ago that they have sent my green card in the mail on Feb 15th and was delivered on Feb 20th. So my question is: Could it be possible that when submitting an inquiry to USCIS about "Green Card not received in the mail" that they don't check if they have it under "Return mail box"??

Should I submit another inquiry about this and ask USCIS to check if they have my mail in their return mail box?? Is this an option for inquiry??

Ugh, how frustrating. Sorry you're having to deal with this, after everything we've already gone through! 

 

I have no idea... But I would say that it can't hurt to place a detailed Service Request with USCIS. Document EVERYTHING. They messed up mailing it to the wrong address... That's not on you. They should in my opinion, fix this at no cost to you. You didn't lose it, or provide wrong information... This is a USCIS screw up. Hopefully they will see that with all of your evidence, and process a new GC with no fee and expedited. Hope so anyway!

I've been feeling so down since last week.. dealing with this situation is so depressing and frustrating..
