and i picked , Gate number three :)  lol i did nothing about my green card.  getting my CDL first and then gonna think what to do about wrong date on my GC. Maybe i'll apply for citizenship and just keep this one as a souvenir :)

I honestly was tempted to do the same, and just ignore it. I am a worrier though, and I didn't want any issues arising when it comes to N400 time. It could literally not affect it, but I also didn't want some stupid law that states that I am responsible for checking that my details are correct, to bite me in the butt. I don't blame you though... In your situation I would have been frustrated and done the same.

Thanks to the 18-month of ROC processing time that it made me  an expert wait-er hahaha.  My biometrics is on May 4th and the total processing time on the USCIS website for I-90 applications is 11 to 11.5 months, Wow!! My stamp expires September and DL expires October.  Kinda' tired of going to DMV for another year of license, but what the hell right? First time for everything   Positivity..breath in....breath out..

Oh I just created an account and logged in and saw this notice:

February 15, 2018

We mailed your card to you. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver it.

You do not need to do anything at this time

The post office will deliver your card to your current mailing address. If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

If you do not receive your card by March 17, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your card by mail.

==============================================================================

So I just submitted a case inquiry and got an email saying to expect a response by May 8th!

I'm so confused about how long can postal service take.. this's so weird..

I want to thank you so much for telling me about creating a uscis account!

At least one can see the updates :)

Hi.Did you get you GC get?

Hi Huckyfinn,

Unfortunately not yet.. sigh :/

I've been checking everyday on my uscis account..

When I submitted my inquiry, it said to expect a response by May 8th!

So I'm hoping to hear back from them by then..

I'll post any updates on my situation as soon as I hear back from them!

Cheers and good luck to all of us :)

Hi Darnit.

Thank you for your feedback. I checked on my uscis account they said they ordered the GC and will mail it to me around 1 month, but 2 more days after that they updated in my account and said that they approved my case and mailed the note to me for more information...sigh...Did you get the approval note before they said they mailed the GC to you?

I wish you will get the GC soon.

That is seriously good news, thank you for updating! Mine is still on the way there. Would have been faster with USPS but I felt UPS would be less likely to lose it in transit.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I completely agree... Returned card with error is free, a lost card is $500+ to replace. No thank you! Hopefully this will be something they can reprocess ASAP 👍

Oh whao! hmm I have a question: Let me tell you my situation in details:

So on February 12th, I got this update:

New Card Is Being Produced

On February 12, 2018, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC1624550932, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

=========================================================================================================================

Then on February 15th, I got the approval letter in the mail. (I thought oh this is a good sign! this means my green card is gonna be in the mail soon!)

After 65 days, the Green Card still didn't make it to my mail box..

So on April 17th, I submitted an inquiry that I still did not receive my green card in the mail. and after submitting the inquiry, saw that there is a note saying to expect a response by May 8th..

So up till now, no new updates on the situation.. :/

My question is: Did you go through the same situation as my case?

I'm glad you got updates on your case!

this has been such a painful experience.. lol

Hi everyone! Seems like most of you who got approved already received green card. I was approved on March 5 and still didn't receive it, my case status is stuck at "we are producing your card"... Wondering if someone in the same situation.

The approval letter states to allow 60 day period for the Green Card to get to the mail but I think you could consider submitting an inquiry!

To submit the inquiry you're gonna need to create a USCIS account at this link: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/users/sign_up?session_id=6b5ff6b0-ffab-46d3-848e-d583b52988ae

and submit an inquiry: "still did not receive the Green Card in the mail"

Cheers!

The first my update as your updated like " New Card is being produced...and i will get the GC around 120days" but 2 more days after that they changed to " We approved your case and mail it to me..." I have been waiting for the approval notice in my mail. I hope you will get your GC soon.

Is "green card not received in the mail" considered "lost"? :/ I hope not.. I dont wanna pay $500 to have it mailed again.. :/

Oh it's weird that in some cases it says 120 days period and in some other cases 60 days.. so confusing..

#USCISmake up your mind! LOL

Yeah. That's true. I have 2 accounts. 1 of Uscis account it says I will get the GC around 30 days, and the second account of DHS it says I will get the GC around 120days...speechless...
