We put what was on the transcript/ tax return as Individual Annual Income as just that. There was a line item that said that.

I won't have a tax transcript for 2016 yet if I am sending out the I-864EZ form before the end of the year.

aren't you required to submit transcripts for 2015? Not 2016? We used the income from 2015 I don't know what other people do or have done we weren't concerned with 2016 income at all.

Yes, I will be submitting transcripts for 2015 but Part 5 Line 4 on Form I-864EZ specifically asks for current individual annual income.

The initial question was whether to estimate income since 2016 is not yet over.

My original response still stands. We submitted in 2016 but still used the income reported on 2015 tax returns. Edited by Keas

As long as your 2015 income exceeded the poverty limit for your household size, it doesn't matter if you put your 2015 income from your taxes on there. My I-864EZ Part 5, Lines 4 and 6a were the same number and I submitted no evidence for current income (because I've had this job for several years now). All I submitted were 2013/2014/2015 tax transcripts.

My Convoluted Story (see my profile for more details)
Jun 2009 - Met on Facebook
Mar 2010 - Visited Morocco for the first time, got engaged
Dec 30, 2011 - Wedding in Morocco (5th visit)
I-130/CR-1 (first time around)
31 Aug 2012 - Priority Date (Vermont, transferred to NBC)
31 Dec 2012 - NOA2
27Jul 2013 - Broke up/Separation (while waiting for case complete at NVC)
9 Jan 2014 - Filed for divorce in US (never completed)
4 Apr 2014 - USCIS NOIR
May 2015 - Reconciliation
Nov 2015 - Vacation together in Spain (7th in-person visit with each other)
I-130/IR-1 (second time around)
4 Feb 2016 - Priority Date
19 Apr 2016 - NOA2

17 May 2016 - NVC Case Number Assigned

31 May 2016 - Sent AOS/IV package to NVC

5 Jul 2016 - NVC Case Complete

10 Aug 2016 - Medical Exam

25 Aug 2016 - Interview - APPROVED

1 Sep 2016 - Husband picked up his visa

Husband POE'd @ IAD - 5 November

For "Current Income" I put my current annual income (I'm salaried). I guess it would be much harder if you are hourly and have to make an estimate. I'm submitting my 2015 tax transcript which will have an income that does not match my current annual income that I put on the form, but I didn't think it would matter since both meet the requirements.

I will actually be using the I-864EZ.

I filed and signed my 2015 taxes electronically using a self-selected pin. Therefore, I did not use my actual signature.

When I submit a copy of my 1040, should I sign and date it or should I send the copy as is since I did not actually sign when I did file?

How should I handle that? Thanks.
