  • Our Story
We met online on April 28,2015. After my first visit to her on June, we felt in love and i continued visiting the country periodically until we got married on january 23, 2016.

    **FORM I-130 SUBMISSION TO USCIS**
After we got married, we took our time to prepare the package to the USCIS, and soon discovered it was more complicated than we thought. there were a lot of small details that were important but easily forgotten.

At the end we decided to send our package on a big 10x15 envelope *SEE PHOTO*, inside containing 3 folders:

    -FOLDER NO. 1
We pasted a label in front of the folder listing what was on that specific folder and clipped the cover letter on top of the folder. It contained:
    1. Completed and signed for G-1145.
    2. Money order for I-130 filing fee.
    3. Completed and signed form I-130.
    4. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (petitioner).
    5. Completed and signed form G-325A and photograph (beneficiary).
    6. Copy of my passport and birth certificate.
    7. Copy of our marriage certificate and Apostille
    8. Translation of marriage certificate.
    9. Copy of my wife´s passport.
    10. Copy of my wife’s birth certificate and Apostille
    11. Translation of Birth Certificate

    -FOLDER NO. 2
We pasted a label in front of the folder listing what was on that specific folder. It contained:
    12. Photos of our wedding.
    13. Photos of us.
    14. Itinerary of my trips to Dominican Republic to meet my wife.
    15. Itinerary of the places we have stayed in Dominican Republic.
    16. Presents I’ve sent to my wife (through a Courier Company).

    FOLDER NO. 3
We pasted a label in front of the folder listing what was on that specific folder. It contained:
    17. Call logs from Whatsapp (screenshots)
    18. Texts messages from Whatsapp (screenshots)
    19. Various email conversations

*As per USCIS's suggestion (link below), on each folder we used:
-ACCO fasteners to hold them together (on the top of the pages) and
-tabs at the first page of each attachment (placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing)
