They would place more weight on his ability to fall above the poverty line when you immigrate which is why 2016 taxes are required but the prior 2 years are optional.  Is his 2016 income expected to continue in 2017?  Can he provide a letter of employment with his title, annual income and employment status to support the expected income?  It may also help to include recent pay stubs.

When filling out the I-864 for current income, would you recommend putting projected income for 2017 or use income on tax return from 2016? Thanks!

Have you called them to review DS 261? IV fee unlocks a week after they review.

I didn't call them but It was unlocked today. Both of my payments are "in process" so hopefully soon I can fill out the DS-260 and mail everything in. So far everything is being processed really fast, hopefully it stays that way.

Hi everyone! My case was received today at nvc but still no case number. Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get a case number? Just an update pd 9/26/16, noa 2 3/30/17, sent to nvc 4/6/17 and received at nvc 4/13/17.

I just got my case and invoice number today but when I logged in it states the following... Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error.

Thank you. I sent my I-130 fedex to Chicago, they got it Tuesday and I got a text and email Wednesday stating they received it and it is being sent to Nebraska. Any idea the average processing time for Nebraska? My husband is in Tunisia. We've been together two years and married one year. I've been to Tunisia twice in the last year and both times I stayed for 30 days.

My husband is also in tunisia

I understand how frustrating the whole process could be. Please just be patient....... " FYI" The whole NVC process would take around 11 weeks from when you send in everything they requested from you and all fees paid.

Still waiting too. Just hang tight, and all would be well before you know it :)

Good luck!

So once all the we sent all the documents that are required and all the fees are paid then that when we can start counting the weeks? Correct?

Oh my God! I just got approved!!!! Soo elated and over the moon, my wife and I were just screaming at each other over the phone.

My PD was October 4, 2016. I was at Nebraska the entire time, no transfers or anything. I was approved on April 10, 2017 and received the hardcopy yesterday April 14, 2017. There was no notification online (in fact my status still hasn't changed).

Never fear guys, approvals are are on the way for everyone!
