MY wife's CR1 is expiring in one month, can she enter US, get I551 stamp and travel out of US in a week time?

Will there be any issues to enter US with I551 stamp? I heard that not many airlines are aware of I551 stamp?

She should be fine to do that, but how long is she planning to stay outside the USA?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Theoretically that is fine but the purpose of applying for a CR-1 is to be a permanent resident. She has had the visa 5 months already and now wants to make a quick trip and spend a further three months out of the country? You would have been better off waiting to file until she is ready to move for good.

After the three months will she be staying in the USA permanently?

She had to stay back because her doctor advised not to travel as she is 30 week pregnant.

So she's had a baby and is 30 weeks pregnant with the second one?

All sounds odd. She hasn't been 30 weeks pregnant for the last 5 months so she could have entered in that time. Or was she 30 weeks at the time the visa was issued?

I find it odd.. a telugu speaking couple I know sent their months-old toddler to be raised in India by her grandparents while the parents workedd in the US. Apparently kids are raised in India.
