Hi everyone,

So I finally received my interview which will be in September,

I got married to my husband 24th of August 2015, so by the time we have our interview we have been married for more than a year. Will I be receiving the conditional green card or the ten yer one?

Approved 26th of September 2016

Approved: 16th August 2019 (July 2018 Filer)

 

N400

Filed online: November 25th 2019

April 27th 2021: INTERVIEW APPROVED - Officially a US citizen - the End!

A conditional one, as you haven't been married for more than 2 years

It would be if they waited 2 years to file for AOS, but that obviously isn't advisable.

Anyone married for more than 2 years at the time their green card is approved receives a 10 year card, including those that are adjusting from a K-1.

You will receive the conditional 2 year card. You have only been married a year.

https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-green-card-granted/conditional-permanent-residence/remove-conditions-permanent-residence-based-marriage

Your permanent residence status is conditional if it is based on a marriage that was less than 2 years old on the day you were given permanent residence.

BTW, your timeline is messed up. You have entered your interview date as a transfer, and have your approval/denial date as Aug. 23rd. That is not possible.
