I would wait until her feet are on the ground in the USA before you plan the big day. That's why you have 90 days. Anything can happen between now and the plane landing. Passports get delayed or lost. There also been reports here of passports coming back with a typo in the name on the visa and they had to be sent back for correction. I think someone even got someone else's passport. Human error happens even in the US embassies. Then there are flight delays, cancellations, etc. You'd have to be unlucky to be hit by all of these, but they do happen. Nothing is certain until the CBP officer stamps that passport at POE.

I think CFO relates to "Commission of Filipino Overseas", but I could be wrong. Regardless, it took about 10 days for Katya to actually receive her visa/passport which was no big deal for us since she used almost the entire six months before she came over.

Good Luck!
