If, 75 days after they received your AOS/EAD/AP, you have not been approved for your EAD, you can make a service request asking them to adjudicate your EAD. It tends to get things moving a bit and ensures you don't go past the 90 day processing timeframe.

Day 00: August 4,2016 - we submitted our AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-765) (USPS Priority Mail)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Sent our package Friday, 19th via UPS to Chicago. It was received Tuesday, August, 22nd.

Still nothing, of course. Check wasn't cashed either.

I know, it's very early still, but my panic mode is on (I'm freaking out that I forgot to sign something or to include an important evidence or that they lost my package altogether :crying: ). Hopefully, I'm wrong!

Is anyone here from NYC (sorry, I didn't read the entire thread)? If so, how long did it take them to clear your check?

YAY! We got three text lasts night saying they recieved our applications! So far the check hasn't been cashed and the receipt numbers don't work yet. But I love the progress!

yeah. i can't blame you on that. it's really stressful preparing the documents and we can't stop thinking of our documents once we mailed it - what went wrong what not.. but hey, relax. give yourself a break from the stress and celebrate even the small things like being able to submit it. :) ElliePro is from New York City too if I'm not mistaken. And it took about 5 days after their check was cashed. you can check it on their signature.

Hopefully you can hear good news soon :)

Today I received my biometric appointment letter. I am so happy. My appointment day is September 9, so basically I have two weeks from now till then. But from my experience so far, my process is two weeks interval, from the date of my NOA1 to when I receive my biometric letter is 2 weeks. So for all other fillers who haven't hear from USCIS, just be patient yours will soon come.

Hello guys! We got married this morning at City Hall and sent off our AOS application about an hour later (I had everything ready to go, just waiting on that marriage certificate!)

Feels great to finally have sent off that package, and now we wait again. I have no idea if I fall in the August filers, or the September filers (I guess if we are super mega lucky we can possibly get NOA1 before September 1st?)

Anyway, nice to be on this side of the whole thing!
