Well, it's still illegal to get married on a tourist visa as far as i know, regardless what country you come from... so I'd rather do it the right way

Hey guys ...an update! We were sent a RFE I just saw that on the app few mins ago. Not sad at all because at least they touched our case and usually after RFE the thing move fast. I'll let you know what they need from us when we receive it. I'm updating my timeline though.

We just received an RFE yesterday too. Does anybody have a timeline on how long it typically takes to get the hard copy in the mail? We can't start working it until we know what they need.

Just check our status on CEAC . Our petition is now in transit to the embassy. I am feeling really good now.

I hope others get there approvals soon.

8/01/16- USCIS received packet

9/08/16- Petition Approved

9/27/16- NVC received packet

9/28/16- Case Number assigned

9/30/16- Left NVC to Dhaka

10/04/16- Embassy in Dhaka received petition

10/12/16- Received packet 4

11/01/16- Medical Exam completed

11/28/16- Interview in Dhaka

11/28/16- 221 (g) Green Slip given

02/06/17- Visa Denied

 

CR-1 Process

04/24/17- Getting Married

05/22/17- Mail in I-130 to Phoenix Lockbox

5/24/14- Delivered to Phoenix Lockbox & Priority number given (Nebraska)

Guys I just received my NOA2 APPROVED notification 5 mins ago!!!!

I feel so excited 42 days from noa1( august 19)

Hope you get yours soon!!

How comes I didn't see any updates yet??

I search case around me, I don't see any RFE or approve

What I have seen is that are many case numbers per day. I search around 100 below mine and they were from August 19 as well

What I dont understand in my app I received The NOTICE and it said phillipines.

But I received The sms and email from USCIS

I check 300 cases around mine also, none were approve today or RFE
