Please stop using all capitals.

It's not entirely clear what the exact Ghana requirements are for DV, however the usual requirement is that the high school diploma is enough to enter a US 4-year college. The embassy does state what the college entry requirements are:

"The minimum university standard for admission to post-secondary education is a C- average on the SSSCE or WASSCE, with credits (A-D or A1-C6) in all subjects. U.S. universities should not admit Ghanaian students who have not attained at least this level. Students are expected to retake exams in subjects they have failed." See more detail at

http://ghana.usembassy.gov/mobile//education-of-ghana.html

Suggest also if possible you find a Ghana forum/thread where you can ask previous winners what they had to show for high school.

The requirement is a High School Diploma (SSCE or WASSCE) with passes in English and Math. Once you were able to resit and passed you have nothing to worry. Just make sure you go to the interview with WAEC scratch card and your remedial exam results slip. Good luck

OP seems aware of the requirement and was seeking clarification on what is regarded as "successful completion" for Ghanian students.

If you're not from a country a person is posting( sub forum), it's always best you don't comment especially if you don't know what he or she is talking about. Just a general thought.
