I don't know but it sounds to me like a generic, canned response from USCIS. Pretty much they are saying keep on waiting. Is this the response you got from an INFOPASS inquiry or was this through another means?

yesit was A response from an inquiry that i have submit cuz my case is already over 6 weeks since i was approved.

all what i asked for is to know if the uscis has sent my case to the NVC.

And that was their response.

Ok thanks, I probably be doing the same if I don't get my case number by next week end, fingers crossed. Hope it comes for everyone soon.

Hey,

have you encounter this issue before?

or you know some one who went through it..

i;m kinda worried now that my case has been on hold....

what do you think?

We are on the same boat , our case is on hold as well since February , I think that due to politics , and what is going on these days . I began to get sick of it , and don't feel like relocating anymore.

My approval was April 7th. As of June 30 it has never been sent.

Mine expires August 6th...

I have to take a day off work and drive 3 hours to St Louis for my INFOPASS appointment Monday.

It should never be this difficult to know when if you file has been sent.

Hi, did you ever made it to the InfoPass appointment? How did it go? I tried to schedule an appointment online and, after entering all the requested information, I got a message stating my case was not elegible for an appointment due to being within normal processing time. How long did you wait before scheduling your InfoPass? My case is almost 6 weeks since NOA2 and no NVC case number yet.

Not yet, no. Next week hopefully, I wouldn't survive an extra 90 day wait for something as simple as this. :P

Its truly awful and Im getting worried as well now, its been almost 2 weeks since I got my NoA2 and I really dont wanna wait 3 months to get my case nr :'(

I've looked at previous timelines from Sweden and according to them its taken about 3 weeks on an average to get the case number... I dont understand why its taking so long for the people now?

Vacation time at the USCIS office?

Probably, a bunch of summer workers are trying to keep up while the regulars are on vacation. :D

Let's hope it won't take longer than the 30 days they write about on the NOA2 hardcopy.

It's been 5 weeks since our case was approved but still waiting on getting the case number from NVC. I called NVC today and a very nice agent told me that "they should have gotten it by now", and to call USCIS to inquire about it. She even said that many cases are getting in from USCIS in a matter of days after approval.

So I called USCIS and explained the agent the situation and what NVC has told me and the response was that it might take up to 90 days for NVC to receive the case and I must wait that time before this could be researched. ? I believe this is bologna, must people only wait 6 weeks to call USCIS and ask for a tier-2 agent, or schedule a local InfoPASS appointment or contact their Congressional representatives. I'm also aware the petition itself expires in 4 months, so I can't see why it might take up to 90 days for NVC to receive it.

I'm wondering if anyone else has receive this kind of non-sense response. I even called twice and the 2 different agents told me the same script.

I personally will wait another additional week, or 6 total, before I start calling the higher ups and start making some noise, that's simply ridiculous.

In my case it took about 31 days for NVC to receive,
