Hi guys i filed in July/12/2016  with CSC. I did my finger print in October/2016. I checked my case status and it say  (On July 12, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice). since than i did not know any thing about my case !!!!!!

how could you tell if my case being pend ?

 

I also apply for N400 and it say (On July 27, 2017, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400)

your case is pending while it just says your case was recieved. mine was stuck at that till it said card was in production. and it took just shy of 15 months

You can call USCIS customer support and ask to be transferred to an immigration officer, but i would take what they say with a grain of salt. Of what all the so called tier 2 officers who spoke to me , none of what they told me was true. One said I would hear from them by mid Sept, the other said late Sept (Yeah right). You can call, but i personally think it is a waste of time, but since you are outside the processing times, maybe you can try  or should try and see what happens. Good luck.

I don't think it will be quick but at this point It doesn't really matter since it's the last thing I need to do. However, seems like N400 turn around is 8-10 months while the ROC took me 16 months!!

Hello all. My wife got her extension letter last year on 7/11/2016, did her biometrics on 8/9/2016, and her GC expired earlier this month. We still haven't received her new GC. When we enter the EAC numbers, one of them gives an error message and the other is still showing the same message from 7/11/16 from the very beginning of the process. Her app is being processed with the Vermont Service Center.

 

We also recently moved and just submitted our change of address using the online form today. We waited to do the change of address because we know the new tenant in our old apartment and have asked that she forward any mail. The new tenant hadn't received my wife's new GC, so I don't think the delay in updating our address is the reason why we haven't received the card yet.

 

Is this normal? Is this the same situation other VSC people are in? I'm worried because the table seems to show most VSC-ers have already gotten their GCs. Is it time to go make an Infopass appointment?

Well, it's not normal, but don't panic. Yes, most VSC applicants have been approved, but not all, (obviously). There are a few things you can do:

• File a service request based on the fact that your application is outside normal processing (VSC seems to be working on October now)
• Make an infopass to get an I-551 stamp in your passport (effectively another extension)
• While you're there, double check that they have your correct address on file

Thank you for your advice. I will call them today.  And maybe make an info pass appointment after the phone call. It seems I am the only one who filed in CSC before 7/19/16 without filing N-400 and still didn’t get approved yet.

Welcome. You are not the only July filer who filed for 400 with 751 pending. There is darkchile, Chicagobd, there are also people who did not file 400 and they are still waiting too, so just have to wait it out and see. Yeah, call them and make an info pass, that is what I will do to when I am outside the processing times.

I spoke with my attorney this morning and they advised that I have to wait 30 days from the current processing date to make an enquiry regarding my I751.

They are hopeful that it is resolved before an enquiry is needed to be made.

My thoughts are that the reason my wife hasn't been approved has to do with the N-400 being in process.

If you filed N-400, you probably need to wait till the processing time for N400.

@Oscar Wild did you file N400?  If not, we are in the same boat. 

My attorney said it is not abnormal, but she suggested if I want peace of mind,  I should make another info pass. 

The officer in the local service center can directly get internal email regarding your case.

I also filed 400, but I would love to see people getting 751 approved with 400 pending. I have heard they may delay 751 for those who applied 400 with 751 pending and just combine it with 400 interview, I hope that is not the case, but if it is, it is. Been waiting to see any of of you guys who applied for 400 will get 751 approved, so far not one yet.
