I did a lot of research, once our petition past 60 days without a word, then it might goes anywhere from there to 5 months period or more...

I seen people in Igor list and in my app people in May still have not approve.

2 more weeks, I start worry about my,...lol

I think because there is a background check kept waiting to come back or someone just place on desk and totally forgot about it.

But seen many past 60 days, their petition may approve anytime from that point to 5 months...

I did my research in Igor's list too and I see now before the end of fiscal year they are pushing to show they do a great work and all petitions are processed in about 90% that's why they don't finish 1 month and grab already the next one. Look at the bars in the chart. Also 60 days are nothing to do, many July filers got after 60 or 70 days waiting, normal waiting time. I think they are working hard and it's just luck or no luck to be processed now, some files from the beginning of July are waiting, me from the end of July, it's OK for now, better not worrying. I think they try to proces to show 80-90% done before Sept. 30, end of fiscal year and to show good job is done

Hey Tasha! Thank you so much for your nice words and encouragements for those who are still waiting...like me. It's quite sad, but what keeps us alive is the future. I'm kind of depressed not because of this wait, but because my fiancé doesn't want to talk about those things...like if I talk abt things that I could do while waiting for aos or ead, I just receive a "yes " "ok" or just no reply...or I go online check things like driver license ..all those stuff..I get no comment abt that.

I know how we women get excited abt marriage future things..but when you have the feeling that the person in front of you looks not exited at all or makes no comment when you talk abt it's just..i don't know..sad. I put all that in the distance thing but...arrghhhhh!

And I just don't talk anymore to avoid a fight.

I wonder how you guys are dealing with your loved ones and manage the distance.

I know how you feel. My fiance doesn't really respond much about the visa either. He was denied a visitor visa a few months ago before we started this process and it sort of crushed hi spirit, so now he's basically convinced himself that we will be denied so he can protect himself from being upset again. He listens to my theories about the timelines and all that but he sort of just says "ok" and "that's good". Sometimes he indulges me I guess to make me feel better but for the most part he doesn't like to talk about the process. I also think a lot of people (mainly guys lol) are just like that. They don't like to get their hopes up maybe, but it doesn't mean they don't care! Just hold on a bit longer, I'm sure more approvals aren't too far away.

This board has gotten rather quiet lately though... Of course I like to hear about approvals also but it will be nice to start seeing some posts about the interview process and different experiences.

Lol! This kind of opinions I call Nostradamus, always predicting the disaster.

And yes, the end of the Fiscal year, that's why they also started your month, August, they need to show how far they advanced, the government is all about the budget and statistics

Good luck to all of us, including me and you!

Tell your fiance not to worry. My fiance was denied FIVE tourist visas.. we tried and tried for one year while I was settling back in the U.S. after living in India. Then we applied for a K1 and got it NO PROBLEM.. he had to return before we were married.. I think everyone here knows the story already... so we just applied again now and got the NOA2.. your fiance will be OK.. :) Tourist visa and Fiance Visa are totally different.
