When was your CC? :)

I called but nothing yet. CC july 21st for me

July 22 and still nothing

My husband was approved today at Nairobi embassy. They asked for tax transcripts and proof of relationship docs. Then asked him about 8 questions.

'Have u visited wife's family'

'How many times did u visit USA and for how long'

'How did u and ur wife meet'

'How long have u been together'

'When did ur wife move back to states'

'What does she do'

Then they asked a couple of questions about the co-sponsor.

Took about 4 hours from start to finish.

HALLELUJAH and may God bless all of you who have this ahead of you!

for the proof of relationships docs what did you use

. I knew it. God is awesome. Big big congratulations. What questions were you asked.

1. Who is looking for you in America?

2. Whats you husband date of birth?

3. What does your husband do in America?............recently retired from the US Army and just opened a liquor store in ATL

4. Where is your husband from in Nigeria?

5. What is your Mother inlaw's name?

6. Where was your husband before he moved to America?

7. Do you have any chat logs?

Then he looked to his left to pick up 3 white slips and said congratulations your visa has been approved. Pick up at Victoria island (with a wide grin on his face)

I couldn't laugh or cry because i still was in shock that it went soo well.

N/B: Note i was denied a tourist visa twice in 2012 and 2015. God is Awesome!!!!

@ FranciscaB: Congratulations!

@ Tac05: Congratulations!

@Lenhey: Oh, nice! You'll be reunited very soon now!

@MasNaz: Wonderful! You're at the end of the journey! (For now, at least ;) )

IR-5 APPROVED!!!!:dancing:

The entire process took about 45 minutes. I have posted a review in the embassy section. I would like to thank the Administrators of this wonderful site and I wish all of you going through the process quick resolutions and positive results!

I was asked the following questions by the CO:

1. Who is sponsoring you?

2. What does she do?

3. When was the last time you saw her?

4. Did she come here or did you go there?

5. How do you communicate with her?

6. How often do you communicate with her?

7. Have you ever lived outside of this country?

8. Where?

9. How Long?

10. When do you plan to travel to the US?

Your VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED, please collect on Thursday at 11:00am.

I took all originals for the civil documents as requested in the interview letter along with copies. I was not asked for one single document except the 2015 tax return transcript . I was advised that this was missing by the NVC and told to take it to my interview.

The process was smooth and the CO was very cordial.

Congratulations!

@Shanshanjamrock: Congratulations on getting the interview date. It has started again!

@xmaricrisx: Congratulations on the date, that's wonderful :)

@MrsBurgz: Let me say it again ;-) Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and your hubby!

@Gachita09: Congratulations! Finally an interview, right?

My husband was approved today at Nairobi embassy. They asked for tax transcripts and proof of relationship docs. Then asked him about 8 questions.
'Have u visited wife's family'
'How many times did u visit USA and for how long'
'How did u and ur wife meet'
'How long have u been together'
'When did ur wife move back to states'
'What does she do'
Then they asked a couple of questions about the co-sponsor.
Took about 4 hours from start to finish.
HALLELUJAH and may God bless all of you who have this ahead of you!

Congratulations!
Did they ask for tax transcripts and proof of relationship because you had not submitted those previously? I'm just curious.

Praying I finally get my interview date tomorrow. Just had an incident when calling NVC. The operator told me that my case was complete but that they had sent an email but he didn't know what it was and that it was probably a checklist. I was heartbroken and even crying. I checked my email and I see NO SIGN of such email that he said they sent to me and I called again and explained my problem to another operator. She was really nice and told me that my case was indeed COMPLETE and to just wait for interview that it was a mistake of the other operator :ranting: Thank God! Now just hoping tomorrow I get my interview finally <3

Hm, we got a CC but also a checklist (minor things that can be taken to the interview - proof of citizenship for my spouse and our co-sponsor -.-) We received the e-mail with the checklist a day after CC. But really, it was only this minor thing.

me to as well but I havent received anything either

question for the people that have had there interview

what were the questions asked and also what documents did they want to see and did you mention that it was for an immigrant visa or

You realize that if you read through the last 5 pages of this thread you will already easily find 3+ people reiterate the questions asked at the interview? You need to read the threads and other people's posts a bit more careful, dear.
