need advice AOS ? please

Hi friends ,i am just wandering like i know we cant work until our AED is in our hand, now i have recently applied for my AOS status and i wanted to do one of course at university - as i know ill be free few months untiL my AOS is approved.

so my question is can i go for a course??? or not or have to wait until my AED or AOS is approved??

any adice will be helpful.

That depends on each school / college / University's requirements. For the most part you can but pay more being considered

a new immigrant and won't get the same fees as someone from in district for example.
I don't know what you mean by it will be free.....
In a nutshell it is ok to take classes at a school as long as the school accepts you.

by saying ill be free means...i will not be able to work and all ill b doing is to wait for AOS to get approved and gonna have spare time...so i saiid ill b free.

do u think i should call USCIS to ask themm....is it a good thing to do

or shall i just go tp particular university and talk about my status and course??

i just want to value my tme in a productive way ???

Within two weeks of his US arrival, after completing the application process, we enrolled by stepson (K2) for full-time classes at the local community college. We had to pay higher out-of-state non-residency fees until his AOS was accepted and he received his 2-year conditional GC.

Check with the school/college about their admission requirements.

YES YES YES as the others have already said.

Going to school is not working and getting a salary.

USCIS doesn't care, it is legal to go to school without EAD/AOS, contact your university to see what they want to enroll you.
You can even LOOK for a job and submit resumes but you CAN'T work.

I went to a public school and they would accept a NOA as a valid proof of residency. which means, whilst your application is in process, you qualify for instate tuition .
