Hello Guys, I need your help.

my wife came here with k1-visa we got married within three months as they require but after 9 months we still did not file status Adjustment and I was wondering if someone can help me with below with below questions.

1. how can we get Social Security after k-1 expired? (but married legally)

2. is it too late to file status adjustment after 8 months.

3. my wife is pregnant and never had immunization shots and cannot take now since she is pregnant. if i include the forms a doctor letter that says she cannot take the SHOTS currently because of pregnancy will that work.?

hi

file for adjustment of status as soon as possible, there are people that have waited longer than you have, but if a year has passed from medical, you wife will need to do the medical again, the doctor will write in the form that she wasn't given shots due to pregnancy)

for social security she needs to file for the work permit that is included in the adjustment of status packet

no need of a letter from doctor

Thanks P-ana.

The link you sent me says: The fee for I-485 applications includes the cost of the I-131 and I-765 (no need to pay for them if filed with or while your I-485 application is pending adjudication). can you confirm this if Travel document is included the green card fee.?

If you are pregnant, the CDC's Technical Instructions direct the civil surgeon how to evaluate the vaccines you are able to receive during pregnancy. If the civil surgeon cannot safely administer a required vaccine, he/she will annotate the Form I-693 by marking the vaccine as contraindicated. See the CDC "Guidelines for Vaccinating Pregnant Women" page for information on pregnancy and vaccinations in general. https://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/vaccination-requirements

U might get an RFE if u don't submit an annotated I-693 form.. just saying
