did you give them your WAC number over the phone?

Thank you

Yes; I called the immigrant visa line (16033340700) and used option 3 to see if "they've received your mail". Give em the WAC number. If they start asking for the petitioner and beneficiary's full names and birthdays, get a pen, cause they've got it! Otherwise they give you the canned speech about waiting up to 6 weeks. :)

Most of the filers after me have been approved (atleast for the next 7-10 persons) wondering why I haven't gotten mine. I'm thinking then, maybe it was because I had my name updated when I got my NOA 2. Although some might say it doesn't affect your process, I am still worried hehe forgive worries, waiting is so hard! hehe my post to name update inquiry is here - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/605837-name-update-for-k1-visa/ would appreciate your comments on this in case :)

dont worry, i got mine 70 days later. next week might be your week.

Is the NVC number the number above the benificaties name on the NOA2? Or is there a different number?

No. That's your Alien Number which is completely different :)

Thanks, Dorothy! Did you have to change your name too after NOA1? I'm on my 71st day too though :(

6-21 is your noa1 receive date or noa1 date. if it is receive date it might not be true. noa1 date types on noa1 hardcopy.

we changed our address. it didnt effect for my opinion. we got noa2 hardcopy also.

i was checking numbers after me before i got approved, there was a lot of approvel after me. i was kinda sad and depressed. but now everybody around me got their noa2 or rfe. next week you will see something, i am sure dont worry.

Hi, can i make things clear please? Because im really afraid what will happen on my interview.. Im a beneficiary of K1 visa and my fiance is from USA, we filed a petition I-129F last June and we just got approved from USCIS this Aug, my concern is my fiance has been filed last year I-129F for her ex girlfriend and he says that they got approved by the USCIS and her ex gf change her mind going in US and to marry my fiance, they broke up. And so they never file for the interview never file medical exam, they just broke up and just forgot it. So im afraid that in my interview that i might get denied because of that, im just wanna make things sure and clear. We already call the uscis last july regarding about that because they might need a waiver for that and they said that its okay theres no gonna be a problem and they dont need waiver. They told us that its okay. So now we got approved from uscis, now i wanna make things clear. Is that really okay? Am i not gonna get denied because of that? Please answer. Please.

Thank you.

Congrats! Check your embassy info, start the police record, medical and preparing to the interview, check CEAC site with your NVC number

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

ask by email or reading your embassy info where to pay your visa and schedule your interview. Don't wait for a letter from the embassy, now everything is online

How to schedule your K1 Interview

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/312942-how-to-schedule-your-k1-visa-online/

Tasha

. Can I the petitioner fill the DS260 form? And I am also confused ..all the needed documents will be provided direct,y to the embassy and not to the NVC right?

Just wanted to give an update on my RFE.

They requested more proof on meeting In person. I sent all airline tickets, bus tickets, receipts and photos in the initial package. But it didn't occur to me that we never met in his actual country, he is from Argentina and we met in Mexico because he is there on a work visa. So I sent my airline tickets again along with his Mexico visa. Along with the receipts and bus tickets. And a long statement. I hope this will be enough.

I-129F sent- June 15

Lockbox received- June 16

Noa1- June 20

RFE- August 23

NOA2- September 1

NVC received- September 13

Case #- September 13

interview- October 31

POE- November 13

Married- November 23
