Everything gets removed and scanned. It is best to just leave them loose. They will remove them and put them in a file before it reaches a desk. So no, it does not matter. I'd think it would make their jobs easier to not have to remove everything from binders and plastic sleeves.

AOS, EAD, AND AP Filed 01-05-2017

NOA1 -- 01-19-2017

Biometrics -- 02-06-2017

EAD and AP approved -- 05-19-2017

AOS approved -- 08-24-2017

Received card -- 09-01-2017

bindler clips , paper clips ,tabs thats really all you need , im using some page protectors but only very small , keep it simple for them

Use binder clips, and paper clips. Do NOT use a binder with plastic sleeves.

The file will end up looking like this:
