Please help me...question about i864A forms

Hi everyone, I am the petitioner for my husband and because I don't have enough income, so my dad will be sponsor for me. Since, my dad and mom filled joined tax, my question is how many i864A forms do I need to fill out? Is it true that I need to fill out 2 separate form for each of them or they can be on just 1 form. And for part5, who should I list the name as the "Sponsor"?

No, you are the primary sponsor and will file a I-864

Your dad is the co-sponsor and will also file a I-864; his wife will file a I-864A

I am not sure since I call NVC and they said I need to fill our form i864. My parents fill out 2 separate i864A forms. And now I am stuck with part 5. Cause I dont know who should I put for the "Sponsor".

You - I-864

Parent A (generally the one that makes more) - I-864

Parent B (generally the one that makes less) - I-864a

The petitioner is the sponsor

Parent A is the joint sponsor

Parent B is the household member.

If taxes are filed jointly it doesn't matter who's name is first or really it doesn't matter who does the I-864 or the I-864a. Generally we say for the person making more to do it because that's the main number they will be looking at for income.
