I was in your shoes. I've started calling them since 30th day of receiving NOA passed. Until then you'll be told, that it could take up to 30 days to receive biometric notice. On 30th day of NOA you have a right to open an investigation what is wrong with your case. In my situation it took them almost 1.5 month to schedule my biometric/ I still didn't receive a bio notice, but was able to download it through their portal and do a simple walk-in bio. Manager in Elizabeth NJ was very nice and allowed to do it. So wait for 30 days from your NOA date and then start calling them. By the way, tier 2 officers are able to see was your bio scheduled or not, if you don't have online acc through https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ you can ask them to assist you.

Thanks dandk for the link. The way I understood from that bulletin is that USCIS accepts old N-400 form until August 9 however nowhere it says those applications have higher priority over new version.

I still believe USCIS processes applications in the order they are received. Just looking at historical trend and obviously due to influx of naturalization application due to upcoming election.. I believe this time of year is always bit slower than other times..

Just giving benefit of doubt until 9th, let's see if that makes any difference in processing new forms..

I spoke with a tier two yesterday to inquire about processing of applications. It makes no difference on type or version of application except for if one is out dated. They have their own magical order of things. It doesn't even matter who's green card was issued first, only timing of our application and office it is goes through.

02/18/2012 - I-129F petition filed
02/24/2012 - NOA1

Hey guys! Looks like everybody is saying about IOE slow process. I've got IOE case too, but on me biometric appt letter it is saying NBC filing centre. What does it mean?

after asking for my interview to be rescheduled, I checked my online account and I saw that they have changed my from we are "We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization" to "On August 3, 2016, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization"

I guess they got my letter

I called and asked to be transferred to L2 i got a call back from the L2 and he said that i am inline for interview it just does not show up as an update and I had an info pass for Friday and the lady told me the same thing that i am inline to be scheduled for interview. i have IOE number

I also talked to a Tier 2 officer today and he told me that my case is in line for interview and that my interview should be scheduled very soon. I asked if there are any delays with IOE cases and he said no.

I inquired wny my case status still shows biometric scheduled and he said it doesn't always get updated. He said nothing to worry about and my interview will be scheduled soon. The officer was very courteous and kind.

I am glad that I am in line for interview and that my background checks have been cleared timely.

I have learnt from April and May filers that it appears IOE cases don't show "in line for interview" when you check the status online and instead go directly to interview scheduled.

Is anyone experiencing this when I try to log into myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov. After entering my username ( which is email) and password and entering the one time secured passcode. I usually get transferred to the case portal but now it just gets redirected to my.uscis.gov and there is nothing on this site that shows my case information. Before I could the details of my case like appointment for bio-metrics etc

From time to time, DHS site encounters a glitch. The workaround after you entered the one time pass code and redirected back, type in the following URL on your browser, https://my.uscis.gov/account/customer.

It should bring you to your portal.
