My interview date scheduled at 24 May 2016
But
I have received a mail regarding my checklist at 18 March 2016...but it states 2 different messages...now i m bit tensed and confused...my petitioner(wife) is a US citizen!

The 1st one is for my Agent>>>which stated:

- FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
We reviewed the Affidavit of Support documentation you sent to the National Visa Center
(NVC). According to the current poverty guidelines, it does not appear you or any of your
sponsors meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrant(s)
for this petition. To avoid delays, you may have an additional sponsor complete an
Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) and provide it to the intending immigrant to submit at
their interview. At that time, a consular officer will make a decision regarding this
requirement.

The 2nd one is for my Petitioner>>>which stated:

We reviewed your I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial
documents. While we will schedule your case for an interview, either your Affidavit of Support was
incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. This could affect the Consular
Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.
On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to
correct. Go to the Department of State's website at http://nvc.state.gov/aos and follow the instructions for
the Affidavit of Support form(s).
Form I-864: Assessment Letter for ____XXX____________________________
The National Visa Center (NVC) recently reviewed your I-864 Affidavit of Support form. The
Affidavit of Support form had one or more sections with missing or incorrect information or
was missing required supporting documents, or both.
Please review the instructions below to complete a new Affidavit of Support form or to obtain
the missing supporting documents. Send the corrected Affidavit of Support form or original
documents that are missing to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the
immigrant visa interview. You should also send photocopies of the Affidavit of Support form
to the principal applicant for each traveling family member to take to the visa interview.

[x] You must submit the following supporting financial evidence:
[x] Your _____2014______________________________ W-2 Form(s).

Sorry for posting a lot of details...but my confusion is which i need to provide at the time of interview...only the corrected I-864 of my sponsor & his 2014 W2 forms or only 2014 W2 forms or a new sponsor because they stated my sponsor did not meet the income requirement at the letter which was sent to my agent,

Plz help me through this situtaion....

If the sponsor did not provide the information that showed the sponsor qualified income for the I-864, you may only need to provide that information and the proof. Without information on their income and the number of dependents, there is no way for us to know if you need another sponsor to qualify. There are too many holes in the information you provided to know, what was blank on the I-864 forms? What's the sponsors income? How many dependents will need to be listed on the I-864?

From the wording is appears your sponsor doesn't qualify, but it may be written that way because no income information was provided.

Hi Monty007,

Both! Since you have received a checklist stated you do not appear to meet minimum income to sponsor, I would go and get a co-sponsor as back up. They do count both incomes sponsor and co-sponsor. Also, get corrected I-864 and make sure you have filled every line correctly and bring his/her W2 along with all documentation required for your interview. It never hurts to be prepared with more than they request.

Good luck!

Best Whishes,

Stefania
