They received my RFE reply on July 29th. When should I expect (hopefully) our NOA2?

The RFE was simply because I forgot to check yes or no in terms of committing a crime.

Starting to get down. We thought we would have it by now.

Your approval could come anytime this week. I have seen several cases get approved within a month of sending the RFE response. :)

I129F sent: 5/11

NOA 1 : 5/18

NOA 2 : 7/18

NVC received/ case number assigned : 8/3

NVC ready : 8/9

Medical Examination at SLEC : 8/9-10 (completed)

Interview : 8/17 (passed)

POE : LAX 9/15

Also, when can I inquire? Or does the 5 month time get pushed back because of the RFE?

I feel your pain, our NOA2 took almost double everyone else's. Hopefully you will receive a response next week. Praying for you guys

Wow, your fiance and mine have the same medical and interview date. Good luck to all of us! :) :) :)

Here's what my fiance is bringing:

1. Passport

2. 1 photocopy of passport biographic data page

3. 2 copies of e-mail with case number / 2 copies of nvc letter

4. 2 copies of visa interview appointment confirmation

5. 1 copy of online registration form medical - St. Luke's

6. 1 original and 5 copies of immunization record

7. 2x2 passport size photos - white background - write complete name at the back of each photo

8. x-ray film, if available

This is really exciting and nervous at the same time, i really pray that everything will work well for all of us. :)

Yes!!! We have mixed feelings but positive. We are mostly excited but having those pre-interview jitters. My fiancé is also bringing a Medical Clearance from a previous surgery. She contacted St. Luke's and they recommended that if she had surgery before to bring a medical clearance. Maybe my fiancé will see your fiancé at the medical and/or interview!!! It would be comforting. Best of luck!!

I think it is all good! Awesome we got the same interview day! 08/25

Wow!! hopefully we are blessed to meet you and all those on VJ during the interview

Hi!

I went for my medical examination at Saint Luke's Extension Clinic on August 9-10. The guards at the entrance asked for the following:

1. Original Passport;

2. 1 Photocopy of passport biographic page, portrait view, not enlarged;

3. Letter from the NVC stating that your papers has been sent to the consulate (I don't have this, so I brought a printed screen shot of the NVC "case ready" status, accepted without problems);

4. 4 US Passport photos, name must be written at the back without smears;

5. Interview appointment confirmation letter ( If available);

6. Payment: PHP 11,300; and

7. SLEC online registration form original and photocopy.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for your experience on that!! It helps ease our nerves that we are not missing anything. :)

I haven't been very active lately but we just got approved! It was only me and another lady before me but I still waited 1.5 hours. Interview was super easy and fast though, just how we met and about his parents/siblings with a final question about when we last talked which was this morning and I told the lady we watched some beach volleyball together this morning and the american team won and she laughed and said she watched that too.

Fiance and K2 had to leave at 3:30AM and wade through a flooded area yesterday. No jeepneys available but finally found a taxi to St Lukes. Took all day and they were very tired and hungry. She said she couldn't leave to go eat or their file would be put on the bottom. So they endured through the day. They were instructed to come back on Wednesday for shots after the CFO seminar. They will examine the TB test on K2 as well. Only one weird part is the fiance has to go back tomorrow to see the OB/GYN. The Physician who did the physical said she could find no evidence or trace that my finace has ever had a child. WTH? Are you kidding me? Because there is no evidence of bearing a child, they require her to be further examined by an OB/GYN? All I could say was "You got to be kidding me?" You would think they have capable doctors who know what they are doing at St Lukes. So she has to now have two Physicals. WOW!

Interview is Monday, August 22, 2016 at 0815.
