Got my RFE in the mail dated May 11. It says that we didn't submit proof of income of my husband (applicant) like pay stubs for the last 6 months, etc.

What did you guys included as proof of income? I attached the two latest pay stubs so I guess they needed more proof.

We had the most recent tax year (2014) + 2 years before (2013-12). Plus he's most latest pay stubs from his own company. We only included his personal tax transcripts and not the company's.

Thank you guys! I just talked to someone who told me that they asked me for more proof because my husband's salary fluctuates from month to month (he is a bartender).

So I guess the best route is to get a joint sponsor. Anyone else with a similar situation?

As proof of income we included 3 years of tax returns, 6 paystubs and an employment letter stating his current income and employment.

We got an RFE as we couldn't include the tax return from 2015. In our RFE response we have included only 1 tax return (2015), the same employment letter and in total the 12 most recent pay stubs to show that he in fact IS making enough income to sponsor me.

I hope that helped :)

Thanks!

6months of pay stubs, 3 years worth of tax returns and 6months on bank statements which show the direct deposit coming in from his employer

Thanks!

We have a joint sponsor. I work in a restaurant too so my mom is joint sponsor. We sent 2015, 2014 and 2013 tax and W2, last 3 pay stubs and letter from employer saying that she is good standing position and how much she made last year. We did biometrics and now we are waiting to see if that is enough.

We had the most recent tax year (2014) + 2 years before (2013-12). Plus he's most latest pay stubs from his own company. We only included his personal tax transcripts and not the company's.

Then you should probably request the tax return from 2015 just in case of an RFE. That's why we got an RFE, we also sent tax returns for 2014, 2013 and 2012 but they wanted to see for 2015 :(

Our Visa Journey (L) (See our Immigration timeline for a very detailed K-1 and AOS process)

08/17/2015 - I-129F petition/packet sent off
12/17/2015 - Visa Interview in Sweden. We're APPROVED!!!
01/14/2016 - P.O.E. @ Newark International Airport

03/22/2016 - AOS, EAD, AP packet sent off
08/03/2016 - Became a Conditional Permanent Resident
05/07/2018 - ROC packet sent off

06/12/2019 - ROC approved (no RFE, no transfer, no interview)

He postponed it till October so that won't help. I'm pretty confident we are good in terms of him being the sole supporter.

I'm sure we would've gotten the RFE for that but yeah, you never know.

I'm just taking it step-by-step and worrying it when it is time. :)

Otherwise I would go mad.

Hello Guys i will be sending my AOS this Thursday . I-130 fees + I-485 fees can ONE check ($1,490) cover for all fees or are they expecting 2 separate checks? ($420 & & $1070)

i was told by a legal Attorney to send one check for $1490..

Yes, you most definitely can. We did just that with our check and in the "Memo" section of our check we mentioned that it was for I-130 & I-485.

So you are good to go.
