Hard interview if usc has sponsored before?

Are we automatically facing some sort of cruel and difficult interview due to this? I'm the usc, I sponsored my ex husband 8.5-9yr ago. We had two kids, he became a usc himself in 2010 but not via me, he naturalized due to serving in the us military during conflict time. We separated in late 2012, it's documented on my divorce papers but things were not final til may 2014. Long of the short, if a service member is away you're discouraged from doing all that so they can keep their head in the game, plus we were working out custody and support out of court. When he returned summer of 2013, I moved across the country once I could clear the home and not "abandon" it. He is still in the military and remarried as well. Ex's new wife isn't from "back home" either in case that matters at all.

I've remarried to my current husband whom I just filed the AOS packet for. We got married December 2014, met June 2014. Yes my divorce was final only a month before but again, I've got the separation date in 2012.

We are worried that we face potential problems and lots of questions over this. In my mind, I like to think it won't come to that because it has been so long ago. Opinions?

Well it may cause more questions at the interview but as long as you have your paperwork in order and you are given the opportunity to tell your story then I don't see why they would have an issue unless they felt like it was fraud.

General speaking with that Consulate they are more focussed on the beneficiary, as long as your relationship meets local societal norms you should be fine.

You, the USC, may face a bit of extra scrutiny to make sure this is a bona fide realtionship and not an arrangement for immigration benefits. Just tell your story and it ought to be ok. Life happens.

Make sure you have strong evidence of this marriage. A lot of joint evidence, such as: Utility bills in each name, banking in both names, auto insurance in both names. mail address to both of you and him, receipts of anything purchased in both names, life insurance on each other, joint club memberships in both names, fitness or Sams, Costco.

He came on a Q1, Disney college program. And at the end of the program they are given a default tourisit visa for 6mo.

As soon as able we will do all of this, utility wise and such. We have joint club type stuff submitted already. Banks. Lease etc. Everything short of auto stuff because that's impossible for now. We submitted the basics (lease, bank, pics, phone, joint clubs) with the AOS pack and will bring the rest to the interview.

We have already gotten a stand alone i130 approved without interview. He got put into removal and that was a year long fixing process before it got closed which included requiring that....we must be at least somewhat convincing already for that to happen.

We recently spent time in the hospital due to me having a miscarriage. As morbid as it is, I'm thinking of including that as some sort of proof that we are trying to start having children. Anyone have an opinion on this?

My husband is learning to drive, when I had my auto insurance renewed, I told them I married, and they put him on policy as a non driver, and shows on

insurance card, but costing me $60.00 extra a month, crazy damn auto insurance agencies. Even through he don't drive.

Does your husband have a learners permit or just an ID? Mine has an expired license from another state. I would def. add him as a non driver if I could....it's worth a try

No Ach has no permit, once we get into the immigration AOS, then will go get a permit, for now I'm teaching him. He is doing really good.

As for you adding your husband as a non driver, they will jack up your policy rate cause your married REGARDLESS. They did that to me, Its okay for now,

looks good for immigration, but hate paying the extra $60.00 a month.

I'll have to call the insurance agency Monday. We already sent the AOS pack, but I suppose we can bring that proof at the interview
