I sent off my I-130 Package. Now I'm about to send off my I-129F. I have copies of my wife's hand-filled G-325A forms (lots of work). Can I send these copies, or do I need her originally signed copies (I'll have to ask her to fill out more, or send her copies which she can sign again). In any case, it's a delay. Anyone know? Thanks.

Original signatures are required on all forms. Not worth the risk of getting an RFE.

Has to be orig. if not you WILL get an RFE,I have heard of several people that got an RFE for just copying them.

So dont do it.

It really is a pain in the butt writing the same stuff 4 times but it is worth not getting an RFE.

If you have access to a computer (or better yet, if SHE has access to a computer), fill out the form on the computer - filling in the first page automatically fills in the next 3 pages. Then she can print them, sign them, mail them to you, and you can mail the whole package off. It will be less of a delay upfront than it would be with an RFE from USCIS.

Yes, as stated above, I would definitely try to use a computer to fill these out. I am finishing up the I-129F packet now, and I had photocopies of my hand-filled G325's from the I-130 packet as reference. It took me no time at all to fill out the one, therefore all 4, G-325's in a cyber cafe down here. All I left out was the date to be written in by hand. It was WAY faster than hand writing it all in there. And it looks so pretty

Thanks. I got it.

I was not able to get the form to fill out automatically. Adobe Reader would not save and Foxit didn't automatically copy down. What did you use?

Thanks,

Thanks. I'll try again with Adobe.

Make sure you have the newest version of Acrobat downloaded (reinstall it if need be). It should work. (I was using IE, not sure if other browsers might make it work differently).

Unlike the I-129F, you cannot save a copy of the G-325A to your computer. Who knows why, but that seems to be how it works. That's the trade off I guess - just fill it out once, but can't save it.

Just one of the fun things about this process it's better to not try to make sense of.

Hello, my name is Kim and my husband's name is Will. I am in Vancouver and he is in Tacoma. We are new

I have a question for the G-325A for the I-129F. At the bottom of the 325A, where it states "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" Do we put I-129F Petition or I-130 as the I-130 is the main form/issue/petition and the I-129F is really the supporting form.

Also, my husband's father has not been in the picture almost since birth and so he is not sure of his father's date of birth or where he is living now. Do we insert "unknown" in the date of birth and City of residence spaces?

Thank you very much for any help!

You need to fill out sets of G325A for both petition. Just put I-129F with the G325A and I-130F for the other set of G325A.

I believe the DOB and info about your father, you can write "unknown", but double check cause I am not 100% - I remembered reading that somewhere. Goodluck!
