tommal hi I forgot send my police report too I will be sending it these days I have a question how to do it do I need contact NVC before that or I should just include cover sheet and send it ?

In my case actually we have a lawyer. so he is doing all correspondence.

I scanned the document and sent that to my hubby in Florida.

And hubby emailed that to the Lawyer and the lawyer has sent it to NVC.

(After they received, We were notified with a new scan date)

Normally you too can scan yours and send that to NVC with a covering letter referring your case number

or

you can wait and see whether a checklist will come for the police report

Pls ask from other members whether there is any, who didnt sent police report to NVC

Just one question to people who have completed sending documents to NVC: Are we sending copies of orginal supporting documents? Not any orginal documents. ?

Also if you have stayed in different states of a countrty, do u need different PCC from each of the states or just one from a country?

Scan date was February 8, so possibly late next week for case complete. At least this is the last long wait.

All the best!! :goofy:

In the PCC application they mentioned ". Give address to residence during the period of certificate required" (I think NVC needs the PCC after the age 16)

But I stated the addresses since my birth (luckily I have lived in the same area)

In Sri Lanka, they checked with all the Police stations of the areas I lived and finally came to my present home to verify my living there.

Greetings,

If anyone can answer regarding the NVC checklist.

My husbands passports were valid only for 1 year so he had to renew frequently, however do I need to also send in the stamps made on passport ? ( they are very old and not visible not to mention water damage )

I'm confused. Are you talking about sending the bio-pages of his passport(I assume he is the one immigrating and you are the petitioner).

Stamped pages isn't part of the IV package it's just the Bio page they want.
