10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Congratz!

If you meant to say is you got your NOA2 approved. Your case will be forwarded to NVC (National Visa Center) and the normal processing time is 35-40 days I think. But we usually called after 10-14 days of NOA2 approval and get our case number. Your case will be forwarded to US Embassy in the Philippines and you have to get ready to submit your Packet 3. A lot of reading and research you have to do in order for you to understand that process for K1 :)

Also, you can complete your VJ timeline therefore you can compare it to K1 filers who submitted their I-129F if the date is same as yours.

About two weeks after your petition is approved by the USCIS, you should start calling the National Visa Center (NVC) every day until they give you your MNL case number.

Once you have your MNL case number, you can pay the visa application fee at BPI, schedule an embassy interview, and complete the medical.

You can prepare yourself for the next steps by reading the U.S. Embassy Manila K-1 interview preparation instructions: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/Instructions%20Packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202016_.pdf

Thanks for that info. Just to verify some information, coz I'm kinda confused about the things to do. My fiance received an email last Feb.19 saying that the form I-129F was approved. And they will mail the approval notice...my question is, is the approval notice is the NOA2?

Ah, you got your petition approved! Yes, that is the NOA2 Very good! :)

For everything else regarding the visa application you should jump over to the Philippines forum to get better answers regarding the process in Manila http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

In about 10-14 days your fiance USC should contact NVC to get your MNL # There are details on the K-1 process for Manila below in my signature, follow the flashing arrow below.

You can wait for the NVC to send your fiance a letter with your MNL case number on it, or you can wait for the embassy to notify you. However, if you want to speed things up, you can call the NVC and get your MNL case number. Once you have your MNL case number, you can pay the visa application fee, schedule an interview, and complete your medical.
