Hi, can i apply for social sec and work permitt if i got denied from uscis. Then my husband have a possibility that he divorced me. He left me with nothing. Can i petition myself instead? Please help. I got here dec 2011 and got married feb 21 2012. Thank you

Did you adjust your status when you got married?

I adjust status as soon as we got married but after interview mail received and denied and my husband withdraw his petition. He left me 2014

I didnt receive any divorce papers. Coz i moved..he just told me he filed annulment. Its been years now i dont know what to do.

So you have no legal status in the US now?

I guess..

What have you been doing since 2014? How do you support yourself?

I see...so basically, the marriage didn't work out which is why I'm assuming he also withdrew the petition once it was denied.

The only way I see you would be able to petition yourself, although it's been so long since you entered the US, is if you suffered from domestic violence but I dont think it applies for K1 applicants.

How would i do that? I never expect this and he doesnt care to me at all.
