Hey everyone,

My husband and I are part of the lucky people in limbo waiting to hear back for the removal of conditions. And... We are moving from San Diego to New York in about 2 months. We won't have a permanent address there since we have not found an apartment yet, so we will be forwarding our mail to my Aunt and Uncle's house.

However, how do I need to notify them of my move (without a permanent address)? How does that impact us for interviews etc?

Hopefully, we will get approval and receive the green card shortly but it might take more than 2 months. I saw that August filers are starting to get approved and we applied early September but who knows!

Green card holder will submit the AR-11 reflecting the address they live at after the move, even if it's only a temporary one. Submit that same form again once a permanent address is found.

Petitioner will need to submit an I-865.

Interviews are rare so probably not a concern. Once you have an address, then tell USCIS. Their website is super slow for me right now, but try this link later https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

I can't even tell if it is the right one. There is a page that says what to do if you have a pending case that's different than if you just move while nothing is pending.

Worst case scenario is they send it to the old address and it gets returned to them as undeliverable. Your status will show it got returned to them if you check your case number.

do it online, so much easier https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do You can give them the address for your Uncle or get a PO Box but you would still need to give that info to USCIS
