I know I should know the answer to this, but I don't and I'm scared it's bad. Please be patient with this question. We had our interview 1/28/16 and our visa was approved. I've been checking CEAC and it just said Ready until today. Now it says Administrative Processing. Is this different than Administrative Review? Is it a good thing or bad thing? In your experience did you/your fiance get your/your fiancé's visa in your/your fiance's passport shortly after that? My visa has been taking over a year and a half so I don't want it to be bad.

AP could mean that they are conducting a background check on your fiance OR it could mean they are printing the visa etc.

Everyone gets AP, throughout the entire process. Usually after the interview, it's really quick but that depends on the country and the specifics to each case.

Just be patient.

Mine changed to issued too, but my fiance went to get it and it wasn't there (DHL). I called and they said it will change on UStravelDocs.com

Issued doesn't mean it ready. On ustraveldocs it was say ready for pick up that's when he can go pick it up. Make sure he bring a copy of the appointment confirmation page that he used to get in the us embassy also a pic id

Do you know how long that takes? It has said issued for 4 days. I'm sorry. I just am really anxious to have him here. We have been together a long time and this process has been really long for us.

It's supposed to switch by now to ready for pick up. I ended up calling the visa center and they can put notes on hubby information and see if that will help push it faster. +1 703 544 7842 Call them and tell them why hasn't it changed yet. That's what I did and it switched ASAP.
