Hi everyone,

I just realized that I have a copy of the whole package (I-129f) however my fiancee did not make a copy of the actual check that was sent with it. Is this going to be a problem in the future? Please let me know because I am stressing out so much right now. Thanks everyone.

It is not required that you have a copy of the package. I don't for example. It is just recommended. It's normally the petitioner there makes this package but the beneficiary there have to go to the interview therefore they say make a copy so that the beneficiary can see everything that is in the package

before the get interviewet.

So the copy of the package is for yourself only the embassy have the other one.

Probably asked before but can't remember with all these cases :)

Did they cash the check?

Nope, checked yesterday. It is sad, it takes up all our energy trying to figure out what to do.

If for some reason you do need a copy of the check you can have your fiance check online banking. My online banking will show a picture of the check once it has been cashed.

My website will help you not to get RFE's. Just follow the link below at the twisting arrow and I have a guide that will walk you through the processing at USEM Philippines. The best part is, I show you how to avoid those items that are not on the website or contained in the documentation that they are going to ask for which causes you to be delayed. The best part is the website is FREE.

Bookmarked the site and will be going through it in a while. Thank you! ?

Hello everyone! I started filling out the I129F form and I came across a section that I need a little clarity about. It's questions 31a-31c, it states "If your fiancé'(e)'s native alphabet uses other than Roman letters, write his or her name and address abroad in the native alphabet." My fiancé is Greek, do from what I understand I should write this information in his native language. Am I correct? Thank you in advance!

Yes. My fiancé is Russian so the native alphabet is cryllic. I just used google translate to copy and paste so I wouldn't have to change settings on my computer.

The 129f package is not a required "document" for the interview. They have all that as you submitted it to USCIS and it will be forward to your Embassy. So check is not required nor is any of the other documents that are in the package.

What do you mean that they need the original of the proof/on going relationship? I have the copies of the entire i-129f pack but they are all copies.

I think he means you need to have pictures, any chat logs, travel tickets etc. as in what you submitted with your 129F. But, they are not needed for the interview just have a dozen pictures of you guys together with you in the event the CO ask for them.

Everything you need is outlined on the UK Embassy website here: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/

Don't forget to make yourself available in the sub-forum for the UK. That is where you can get expert advice from those who have passed through getting their visa. The ones who are here are just trying to get their arms wrapped around their Embassy and most Embassy's can and do require different processes and documents.

Yeah, I understand what you meant with proof of ingoing relationship but I just mean that I don't have the originals, just copies of the originals. My fiance has all the original tickets, boarding passes, receipts etc.
