I just called the NVC and they said that they haven't received mine yet. The person I spoke to was very nice and said that it usually takes up to 35 days to get through but she advised me to call maybe twice or three times a week to check in. I'll just call back next week ☺

Congrats to all that received their Noa2. I'm still patiently waiting. I had some really good news this week ?just found out we're expecting ?after my Mr's visit so was hoping to get approve this week just to top it off, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. My estimate has come and gone even after being pushed back by two weeks. Next week will start my fourth week of actively waiting?. I know that we're only at 50% of Feb cases being approved but hoping not to get stuck on a slow person desk

That such amazingly great news! ? Congrats, I will pray and keep my fingers crossed that you will be there soon so you can both enjoy this pregnancy together ☺

you're not the only one.

Looks like your NOA1 date Feb 12, is one day after my notice date: Feb 11.

My file hasn't been touched since Feb 12.

At some point are we supposed to call? What else can we do? Who do we call?

-David

Mine was last touched Feb 12th too...I want to call as well but from what I've read on here they won't help unless it's past the 5 months. If anyone does know what else we can do please share?

When you call they tell you you are within the 5 month waiting period, I've called and wouldn't recommend it.

When you say you "wouldnʻt recommend it" do you mean itʻs pointless because theyʻll tell us weʻre within the 5-month window, or because itʻll somehow count against us? I am kinda tempted to call with the justification that people whose I-129Fʻs were received after mine are getting approved...

It won't count against if you call, also think your justification will not work, many have tried, by all means go ahead, interested to hear what resoonse you get.

I've noticed there are a few of us here in the Feb 10-13 range that haven't received a NOA2 yet. Personally, I am aware my petition might have a red flag and, perhaps, that's the reason it's taking longer than others to get approved. With my petition, the red flag I'm referring to has to do with a previous K1 filing several years ago which might require extra excrutinity or investigation. This is just my wild guess. Are others that are also waiting considering any red flags might be the reason or have no clue why no NOA2 yet?

We shouldn't have any red flags...we did meet online so I can see maybe an RFE for that but nothing that would cause extra scrutiny.

Calling them won't help any of you at all. They do not do anything until the 5 months have past.

Remember VJ estimate is only and estimate based on other members info and a lot of that info is unfortunately sone wrong!

That someone has gotten approved that filed after you is frustrating but remember they don't do them in order. Some cases just take longer, it can be for many reasons, but most importantly they will get to your case and you will hear something.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for all those still waiting hoping you'll hear something soon!

Hello Everyone,

I am following this from a long while now and you guys do a terrific jobs, helping each other with some good piece of information.

I am seeking some expert advise here. My fiance living in US filed our case on Feb 23 and our case was registered on Feb 26th.

We received an email confirmation on Mar 2nd and the hard copy on March 9th.

My fiance found some discrepancy with my name and she reverted back to that letter on March 21st (I know we were really late in revert)

Now the website says under case history - On March 24, 2016, your request to correct an error on your document or notice, was completed.

My concern is, will our case be scaled now from March 24th when our request for removal of error from the document was completed or from Feb 26th when our case we received by USICS?

Please advise, Thanks in advance.. post-230691-0-01039100-1461399343_thumb.jpg

I can't say when you'll hear something :) Just that you are within the normal processing time just as before with the same NOA1 date they haven't changed that one just because of a name correction. So yeah hopefully it'll be you (and others waiting) here shortly :)

Thanks again Georgia :)

Just another concern, We both met through one of our common friend, so was this required to share the letter of intent to marriage within 90 days. Because all we have submitted in proofs is the photographs of our engagement and her air tickets to my country along with hotel bills etc.

Thanks in advance..

What do you mean be share in the letter?

The letter only has to state that you are able, willing and free to marry you fiancé within the 90 days of his/hers arrival.
