Just got my green card in the mail :o There's like a holographic image of me on the back, pretty cool. This is WITH getting an RFE. I also got my EAD a month ago as well. I received an approval notice in the mail (no text or email) a couple days ago. Now I just need to pass my driver's license road test then I can be a real person again. I hope everyone has good news coming to them soon. Good luck guys.

Not Yet...Am I supposed to contact them? I thought I did not cross the 90 day wait time yet

Before i got my approval letter for EAD/AP said you can call back when you hit 75 days that way they can speed it up as you are close to 90 days and if you hear nothing on 90 days then you call back again

since you hit over 75 days 100% call them back

Update: I called uscis today and spoke to a cute old man who was very nice and told me the form must have been an oversight as there is no way my medical would have expired. He said to respond to it saying as much with any proof I have that my medical took place in November 2015. I've photocopied the receipt, the ds3025, the CD xray, the xray report.... Unfortunately my doctor never gave me the i693. It feels like we should be allowed to keep a copy for our records. Did anyone get a copy of theirs in their home country?

I understand a lot of people have the mirena without issues as I did for the last 10 years. When I went to get it renewed again the doctor discovered It has perforated my uterine wall and become embedded. I know this seems unusual but after doing a little research it has happened to more than a few.

Most people have no issues but I just wanted to put it out there to be careful when choosing birth control and be sure its the right choice for you.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm on the skyla now, which is the baby sister of the mirena. I looked up complications with mirena, and you definitely have the right to sue the company. I'm not sure if it's worth all the effort, but this has really had a negative impact on your life, and you deserve any and all financial compensation for the damages (even though that obviously cannot make up for what it has done). Again, I'm so sorry. I'm kind of freaking out now about the skyla...I wish doctors informed people more about these extreme risks.

Just got my green card in the mail :o There's like a holographic image of me on the back, pretty cool. This is WITH getting an RFE. I also got my EAD a month ago as well. Did you actually get an i693 vaccination supplement done from a doc in the US or did you just send the DS3025? I'm kind of confused because you don't get the i693 done in your home country, you get it done here. If you did it here, the doc should have given you a copy, and if not, you can request that.

-------------

Also, @SEG123--we did not receive the card today. :( Did you get your card via FedEx? That's kind of strange, because I'd expect USCIS to send everything via USPS like they usually do...I really hope no one in my apartment complex got our mail and just threw it out. Has anyone else who got the approval on the 26th received their EAD/AP?

Don't worry I have Mirena and I've had it for almost a year and I'm totally fine. I check it every couple weeks to make sure it's in place like the doctor told me and I pay attention to my body for any pain or abnormalities. Sometimes I get ovary cramping but that is usually a cyst which is common with IUDs and they clear up on their own :)!

Hold onto your hat its going to be a bumpy ride!!

but don't worry you'll get through it :luv:

Don't worry yourself over it. My gynaecologist seems to think this happened around a year ago.

I started having my cycle every two weeks and having extremely painful cramps around the same time (before this I had no pains and had a cycle maybe every 6 months) Just be aware of those symptoms and if you believe something is wrong go straight to your doctor to get a checkup. Most people are fine on Mirena, I was just one of the unlucky ones.
