@dwheels76...more knowledge transfer. The scheduling process starts the last week of the month and ends the first week of the next month? Does it also depend on the Embassy?

Usually starts last 2 to 3 days of the month through 2md week. They schedule until they either run out of cases or they run out of slots. Most of the embassies fill up within a few days.

I am new so please forgive me if I take awhile to update my profile as I am still getting used to it. My question is this. I checked my CEAC profile almost daily. I saw my 3rd N/A on January 22nd.I called NVC February 01 to verify C/C but did not get my C/C email until February 17th. So when was my case officially completed? I am trying to figure out if my interview will be in early or late May. I am really hoping for late April.

2/10 would be your Case Complete date. The email always comes 7 days later. Right now Jamaica is scheduling NOV and up to Dec 2 Case Completes. Normal wait for Kingston is 112 to 150 days after case complete. Hang in there.

I have a while to wait. I thought I would be lucky enough to get an April interview latest early May but having to wait another 100+ days is depressing. I was hoping the day when I saw my 3rd N/A would have been my C/C date.

I am sorry. It's just that everytime we think we are just about done with NVC there is another hurdle of long waits.

It was complete on the 1st. You can start counting from that date. The email always comes a week later.

Thank you. Go through old post and I seen where almost every other members got their C/C email 7-8 days after verifying with NVC but after I called NVC on February 01st. We didn't get our C/C email until February 17th that's over two weeks. Any idea why they would take that long to send the email? The NVC rep told us that all our documents were in order and didn't need anything else and that the case was completed.

I would like to also take the time in congratulating everyone who got their interview dates and their visa approvals.

I wish my date could be moved. April 28th is just to far. I am praying the lady saw the date wrong and it was a mistake. All the others for my embassy got dates April 4-14. And I filed before them and except for 2 who have same CC as me the others have CC after me. Yet I am end of month.

MMM, can you ask for moving it for earlier when embassy would get your case? For example, I talked to Moscow embassy and they didn`y need any reason to move it, just checked if there were any free slots on earlier dates. Maybe it`s worth trying? Really happy for you and wish you luck!

I understand your frustration. I wish I knew whats up with Jamaica and why they are so backlogged. I mean is there that many people leaving.

Best estimate for you is April probably will be scheduled for June date. Hang in there. That's what this thread is for. Vent, rant, cry we are all here to support. And a great place because we all understand the frustration.

I would call NVC and verify when did you get Case Complete.

Thank you so much @Dwheels76. I have no idea why they are so backlogged in Jamaica either. I can only assume that it has to do with applications for visitors visas. I see how close everyone is on here and the support you all give each other. That is why I decided to become a member for that very support system also. I must also commend you on your knowledge of the process and the input you make to help others like myself in our journey to get to our loved ones

Yes i´m going there on Wednesday the 2nd and i found a hotel http://crystalplazahotel.se/ and train tickets, so i will be fine

I had to email the embassy and they had to look it up. So yes as it says on the first page in here, that is a option to try out.

But it´s not given that you get a new date.

I just called to verify that it is 4/28 and yes it is. I asked is there any rhyme or reason to scheduling even though my CC is earlier that the ones that got early April and she said "I can't confirm that". She said you were scheduled on the 24th you should get Interview Letter shortly. In NVC terms shortly could be forever. LOL

I might request earlier date. I had already asked for an expedite with NVC (as far as Interview scheduling) and emailed the embassy. This was before Case Complete. . I might be getting on embassies last nerve.
